Why won't MineCraft let me make hardened clay on xbox 360?

I've been trying to make hardened clay on MC on my Xbox 360 by putting clay and coal in the furnace and for some reason its not hardening? Am I doing something wrong or can you just not make hardened clay on the xbox version?

I just got minecraft on Christmas and I was wondering what to build with redstone and how to do it? I'm horrible at redstone and all the cool ideas I have always fail because I do something wrong and don't know what it is… But anyways, ideas?

Does anyone have a good Xbox 360 clan I can join?

So I'm a gamer on Xbox, and I would like to join a clan. I would like to join one I wouldn't be harassed in like most. Please keep in mind that I'm 13, please don't be shocked by my age, I'm very mature than others. I'm also a girl, I'm not bad at games, so please don't think that as most stereotypes play that out. I have a group of friends that are boys and I always see them in their clan when I join their parties, I don't want to join them because they are immature and take the game very seriously. I want a clan were I will be treated equally and fairly just as anyone else. If members in the clan cuss, I'm fine with that, I'd just rather not have any sexual remarks towards me. I would like to be with a clan with mature people. I like to play, Minecraft (sometimes) Black ops 1, Black ops 2. Cod Ghosts, and Halo 4. Sometimes I may not be able to get the games because they are my older brothers. I'm sorry for going into a VERY long a descriptive lecture. God most people probably just skipped to the end, so if you know or are in a good strong clan please tell me your gamer tag, my friend requests sometimes don't work so my name is, Bacon X Zombie

Can't do minecraft Xbox 360 edition split screen with hd?

I got an hdmi cable and second controller for my Xbox 360 slim recently. I plugged in the cable to my Xbox and my tv. My screen shows up on channel hdmi and it's Definitely hd. With both controllers signed in on hdmi channel yet it doesn't show that extra screen to connect my other controllers or tell me to press start in-game. My tv is an HDTV so what's wrong?

Trying to sell my xbox 360.

I want to know how I could make it safe to sell.
I want to remove all my data but the downloaded games I have.

Is there anyway to safely remove data (passwords, credit card data) without deleting the game and money on the xbox.
