Will minecraft ps3/Xbox 360 ever be equivalent to pc's current version?

I know it won't be the current version ever but will it ever hit the version it is at right now?

The PS3 and Xbox 360 just don't have the physical hardware required to support the larger worlds that the PC version does. Furthermore, neither the PS3 or Xbox 360 allow user-created mods. So these versions will always be heavily constrained compared to the PC version.

The PS4 and XB1 are more powerful but they too suffer from the same restrictions regarding mods.
