My kids just got a new game for their xbox, but it's not working?

When we put it in it just looks like it's reading it, then it says open tray. I read somewhere that you can delete an update that is causing this problem, but it said make sure you have no media on the drive… We do have minecraft saved to the xbox so I wouldn't want to delete that at all. I'm not great with technology at all and he was really excited to get this game today, any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Added (1). They can play other games and dvds on here just fine, it's just only one dvd and this particular game that won't work so far.

Will i get banned for modding minecraft on xbox?

I'm not going to do mods to cheat, just for a bit of fun. I was going to make the game private and just let friends join.

The mods i was going to do were things like x level tools, monster spawners, and setting the weather to always thunder. I'm not going to use these mods to get achievements because i already have them.

Can i get banned for doing this? Or can i contact microsoft in some way to find out?

Added (1). I decided it's best not to risk it. The mods arnt really important anyway.

I just thought, because i download maps all the time and a couple are modded that it might be ok. But I'd prefer to not find out the hard way…

PS3 OR XBOX 360 for a new gamer?

This is going to be pretty long with some probably unneeded information, but whatever.

I know this argument has been made way too many times, but as someone who has only had a Nintendo 3DS and is new to the whole console/gaming world which would be best? I'm not asking about PS4 or XBOX One mostly because they are at a price I'm not willing to pay right now, especially with it being my first big console. I know that for XBOX to play online you have to pay around $50 a year(?) and then the Play Station has free online gaming up to a point(?) As for games that I'm interested in I'd like to play Assassin's Creed, Final Fantasy, COD, Minecraft, GTA, and etc. Even though Titanfall looks awesome I'm not buying an XBOX One just to play it.

I'm really iffy on this as well. My dad has always been a PC gamer (LOTRO, WoW, Ultima Online) and my mom does really nothing to do with gaming so they never wanted to get me any consoles. While I'm in school and working a part time job, I pay for my own technology but I'm sure they will think it's a complete waste. (Even though my dad dropped a lot of money on his custom Alienware computer and TV for a computer screen.) Also, I'm not even sure where I'd put the console because I don't even have a TV that can be used with anything really. Anyone have any ideas on how to convince them to letting me purchase one?

Should I get the Elder Scrolls Online on Xbox One or PC?

I have an Xbox One and a laptop. I'm going to get the Elder Scrolls Online when it comes out. What should I get it on? I'm far more used to console gaming. And my computer isn't very fast. It handles minecraft fine but I don't know how it will do with such a big game. But I like how on the PC you can chat with others by typing. And being able to play it in my room, the living room, wherever. Whereas on a console I'm stuck in the living room if I want to play. Thoughts?

What's the differance between xbox and pc minecraft?

I'm getting an Xbox for my birthday for the sole purpose of playing mine craft.
My brothers have it on PC but I find it hard to get my head around the controls
And found it easier when I played it on xbox at my dads house.
I heard them saying that Xbox version is inferior to PC version.
Are there any differances?
And what really is better?

Sorry if I gave too much info, I'm a rambler

Can i play Minecraft xbox 360 with someone far away?

Can I trade my black xbox 360 for a ps3 at gamestop?

I'm just really tired of xbox live. I don't want to pay for xbox live just to watch a movie on netflix.

I have a couple games too:
Kinnect animals
Minecraft (downloaded)
Kinnect Adventures
And
A Kinnect Japanese dancing game
I think thats all the games I have.

So can I trade these games plus my black xbox 360 for a ps3?

Also If I can trade for a ps3 can I download Minecraft in the store or something?

Added (1). @The Shadow, How much money should I add with the trade?
