I live in California and my two cousins live in Mexico. They have an xbox (with minecraft) and i was wondering if i could play with them all the way from Cali. I have Wi-Fi i think they have it? Not 100% sure, but i think they do. If we can play how can we do it?
Can i play Minecraft xbox 360 with someone far away?
To play together online you and your cousin both need to connect both xbox 360's online, so this means you need an internet connection.
Connection is strongest through the ethernet cable, but Wi-Fi is still good too. And if your cousins don't have Wi-Fi, it's ok, just tell them to plug their ethernet cable into their internet modem/router.
All you need is internet. I'm from Sacramento and I've played cod with kids from London.
Okay Emily,
If you both have internet, the next step would be:
1. Both, you and your cousin, need to sign up and create an account.
You can do that here:
http://www.xbox.com/...85Nb7mVs4r
Once you both sign up, both of you will get a week of Free Xbox Membership.
2. Send them a friend request or make them send you one.
3. Have fun!
I hope it all makes sense to you and hope it helped
