I'm getting an Xbox for my birthday for the sole purpose of playing mine craft.
My brothers have it on PC but I find it hard to get my head around the controls
And found it easier when I played it on xbox at my dads house.
I heard them saying that Xbox version is inferior to PC version.
Are there any differances?
And what really is better?

The xbox version is very similar to the pc, however the xbox has smaller worlds, has a simpler interface for crafting items, and you use the xbox controller (of course) to play. The xbox version is probably going to be behind all the updates from the pc version, so it won't be up to date. The pc version allows you to add mods, have skins, which the xbox does have, but its paid dlc. In my opinion, I prefer the xbox version, it has great controls, its easy to play online with friends on xbox live, and you can purchase minecraft on xbox digitally or a physical disc, while the pc version is download only.
