Can you still get updates on minecraft without xbox live?

I no longer pirchase xbox live anymore, and i'm thinking of buying minecraft (hard disk) I can connect to the internet just not live.

Can I still get minecraft updates eithout having live? ( I can still connect to wireless internet with my xbox)

I already have every Elder Scrolls, every Mass Effect, every BioShock, every Fallout, every Crysis, Assassin's Creed 3, Batman: Arkham City, Dead Space, Dishonored, Far Cry 3, Gears of War 3, Halo 4, Darksiders 2, Tomb Raider, Injustice, Minecraft, Mortal Kombat, and Rage. I was thinking of buying Deus Ex: Human Revolution. After finishing Mass Effect, I feel so empty and I need something to play.

What type of gaming PC can i get with this?

I would like a PC (or laptop) that will allow me to play games. The maximum budget i have is 75pounds-120pounds and the games i would like to play are skyrim, minecraft, WoW, TF2 and a few other games so can someone help me

For MinEcraft XBOX 360 version do you need Xbox live to update TU(Title Updates?)?
Because I got xbox 360 version after TU12 came out and I can't seem to make an Iron golem and there's no jungle trees anywhere?

Minecraft House disappeared?

Okay, so I was playing Minecraft Xbox and I had made a house out of sandstone, I went out for some coal and made sure to leave all my important stuff in my chests- and I left. When I came back my ENTIRE house was gone. My bed, furnace, crafting table, chests, ect we're where I left them. There was no crater, the ground sustained no damage, it looked as if someone had came by and taken down my house- left everything there and on further expection of my chests, alot of my cobblestone is gone. I know this can't be a creeper's work because there would be a crater. And no one could've hacked on through the internet because I had the internet cord unplugged. What is happening?

What is a small, entertaining thing to build in Minecraft?

I have Minecraft for the Xbox 360. I won't build anything huge because my attention span is short. I also want to use it so I won't get bored quickly. Any ideas?

Gaming Set-Up Help & PC Advice?

After several months of wanting one I have finally decided to plan a gaming set-up. I'm about to start an apprenticeship which will net me around £400 a month (£240 of which is free to spend) so money shouldn't be an issue and I finally have the money to invest in a set-up. Things on my list already include an xbox one, a BenQ gaming monitor, a scuf controller and obvisouly a desk and chair to have the set-up. My question to you is what else can I get for my set-up? I need ideas.
Also I'm looking to buy a fast tv and HD PC monitor and was wondering what specs I need. I will be using the PC for Live streams and random googling. Quite a lot of multitasking will be done on it. I may even use it for minecraft. What RAM would I need? Is Intel i7 good enough? And can I get all this for around £500-£600?

I hope you can give me some advice. Please no horrible or sarcastic answers.
