So I was playing Minecraft and I died from falling and when I respawned, I was immediately killed by a skeleton but standing next to him was a mob that looked just like the playable character but he had black eyes and gold armor on. I was playing offline so it's not another player. Does anybody know what this is? It wasn't a zombie because it had the same skin tone as the playable character.
I made a server for my school (I'm the T.A. In the class and we're using Minecraft to teach) Well, My friend and I were getting the server to finish the plots and our skins didn't load (I was Steve and my friend was Alex) We signed in and out a couple times to see if it was just a lag thing but it they wouldn't load. I didn't ban them or anthing so why aren't they loading?
Also I banned mobs from spawning but the spawn eggs work, but only for the monster spawn eggs, the animal spawn eggs don't work. Pic below is the server settings showing you I did ban mobs.

I really do! I love making fun short videos, how to videos, but i never had good ideas. Except here and there i may have one but my videos never turn out how i want them. But its so fun making videos. One day i want to be a youtube star. With like 1k followers at least. I want my own minecraft animation, like my character just waving. Is there anyway i could replace the skin of someone elses animation? If not its okay but i just want to start with a small youtube channel.
Why do I look like a girl in Minecraft?
Added (1). I look like a girl in Minecraft. Like how sometimes the skin glitches and you look like Steve, this time I look like a girl with skinny arms. Does anyone know why?
Okay so, I woke up this morning, and I had a truly violent and scary dream. I remember that I was out on my own (I'm only 15) and I think I fell. I felt my nose and it was bumpy. I felt it cracking and I guess it broke. I remember people were trying to help me and put a bandaid on it but I wanted to say "it's not gonna help, I think it's broken!" and it hurt to talk because my skin moved with my nose. And afterwards I remember my 2 year old nephew, my sister, my mother and I all in the car. We had a gun in the car for some reason (we usually don't in reality), and I remember the window was open and it somehow accidentally shot. It aimed for a store where the door was open and 2 overweight colored ladies sat. I yelled "duck!" and they looked at me and ducked. After that, they started cursing at me thinking I shot the fun, calling me "skinny a-- girl" "b----" and throwing f bombs at me. For some reason we had powers… So I got scared and teleported away and drank an invisible potion and turned invisible (probably a Minecraft thing that was) and I hid in the corner near the bed at home. My nephew came running in and hid next to me but didn't use any "powers". My sister and mother were still arguing with and fighting the 2 overweight colored ladies. And then I woke up. I felt my nose and it was fine. Thank God. So what does this all mean? I'm really confused… I don't have dreams as violent as this.
Other people skin are steve. But people can see my skin it's horrible!
Yesterday I set up my own server for me and my friend to use. Today we played on it, but she couldn't see my skin and I couldn't see hers, we both just appear as steves. I could see my own skin no problem, and same for her, but not each others. How do we fix this problem? Is it something wrong with the server itself? I tried reuploading my skin to my minecraft profile through minecraft.net/profile, but even then she still could not see it.
I bought the game card today from Best Buy and whenever I try to change my skin it says that I need to 'purchase the game' first. I don't get it.
Added (1). Edit: I followed the instructions on the back of the card.
Can someone help I changed the char.png file in the minecraft.jar file but my skin isn, t changing from Steve. By the way the version is 1.5.2 and I'm using the JohnSmith Texture Pack.
