Should I buy both PS4 and Xbox One?

So, this week i'm Buying a playstation 4 with Battlefield 4 and Killzone Shadowfall.
Most of my friends are in Playstation but I still like the Xbox one because of dead rising 3 and titanfall ( which are exclusives). So should I buy PS4 now and Xbox One like 3 years after.
The problem is that if I buy Xbox one 3 years after or less it might make gmes like dead rising 3 be kinda old so should I only buy PS4?

My 10 year old son wants an ipod for christmas, but because of the price, and them being so fragile, i'm looking for an ipod alternative for him. Can anyone tell me what a good choice would be, that is about the same size as an ipod? Also, one that has alot of free games for him to play. I noticed that each tablet has their own app store, so how can i make sure he can play the games he is looking for? Like minecraft, happy wheels, fruit ninja.although he is 10, he is used to playing"more mature" games on his xbox.

I have had it in Xbox for about a year and feel like I have done everything I can on that, survival, creative, dungeons, mineshafts etc. Just everything, but I still love the game but want to make it fun again, how?

Alright, so I recently received an XBox gift card for $25 and I don't really know what to spend it on… The main problem is that I have most games that I already want (mainly already on PS3). Are there any suggestions for a guy like me that enjoys BioShock, Dead Space, Uncharted, and other types of more interesting shooters (compared to Call of Duty, bleh)?

I already have Minecraft, Dishonored, Halo 3 and 4, Gears of War, and such, plus all the Games with Gold games that were given away… I've been eyeing Borderlands or perhaps Metro, but the main concern is buying something only to have it come out for free for Games with Gold next year.

Game suggestions for xbox 360?

I'm currently looking for a Re-playable xbox 360 game. It honestly doesn't matter what genre it is, as I have a variety taste for games. Games that I've played Halo 1-4, gears 1-3, Bioshock/ Bioshock infinite, Mass effect 2, Skyrim, Gta 5, Dark souls, Assassin creed 1-3 bordelands 1-2 and a few others. Now to help out, I have a couple games i Have in mind of getting, Halo wars, Dragon age 2, far cry 3, Tomb raider, Kindoms of Amalur, or the witcher 2. If there's one thing to know of what kind of games I'd dislike it's probably Roaming type games such as minecraft type style, Sorry For the long amount of text, But any suggestions or opinions would be awsome!

What is so good about minecraft?

I went on the xbox and played minecraft alone for three hours I usually only play games for 20 mins max I got a lot achieved and was happy but when I look back on it I still wonder how its so popular when the graphics are **** and very little happens in the game other than you collect stuff you loose it when you die and random monsters attack your work that took hours to make I love it so much but why?
I got a pc the other day what differences if any will be on to pc
Can I play the pc version with an xbox remote
Can I play split screen on pc
And what the hell is a dragon in it like do they attack you or can you tame them I've never encountered one
