Can't connect to Minecraft server? - 1

Hi. My friend has a Minecraft server which I'm trying to connect to. All his other friends are able to connect to his server (From their own routers).

I have isolated the problem, so we know it's a problem with MY router.
Because:
When I connect my computer to another wireless router, I can connect to the server.
When I use another computer on my network, it can't connect.
Other people can connect to his server.

I have tried to open the port 25699 on my router, but with no results (25699 is the port, his server is using).

I have also disabled my router's Firewall, but with no results either.

And of cause a restart of my router didn't work either.

I'm able to connect to any other Minecraft server. But not his server.

I have a LEGAL minecraft account.

What should I do, to be able to connect to his server?

My minecraft server will no longer go online?

I was on my minecraft server yesterday with about 8 other people from around the world, when suddenly my internet went out. After stopping the server, restarting the internet and getting everything back up and running, my server will no longer go online. So, nobody is able to access it, including myself. It is fully port-forwarded and set up, and there's no error in the command prompt.

Is it right to spend money on video games(specifically minecraft)?

So my friends and I occasionally play minecraft. However, 2 of them play nonstop and take VERY seriously. They are both very spoiled and don't seem to care about the hard work their parents do for the money they are wasting. Of their donor ship transactions they have spent at LEAST a couple hundred bucks each on only 1 server. Each membership they get is $40 for three months only. Do you think it is right for them to be so obsessed with a video game that they are spending hundreds of dollars on a VIDEO GAME. I really want to prove them wrong about their choices because they are so obsessed that it is the only thing they will ever talk about at school and everywhere.

Minecraft server not connecting?

Failed to connect to server
Connection timed out: connect

This server was working fine until the IP changed and now I'm unable to connect to the server. I've tried everything, including bringing down my firewall, opening port 25565 via firewall rule, and disabling the anti-virus. I'm unable to portforward, as I'm using my university's internet and do not have access to the router's control panel.

HOW IN GOD'S GRACE DO I FIX THIS?!
