Do you need to buy minecraft to play with other people?

I've been playing the cracked one, do I need to buy it to be able to play with other people? How much is it in £'s? Any other information you have would be great thanks

Someone I don't know is texting me?

So I have a kik account and someone found me. She starts texting me because apparently her other friends are fake. She asked me how old I was and she said she's eleven. I said to her "I don't know you, I'm NOT telling u how old I'm, don't text me…"
She answered "your mean I just wanted to be your friend."
From my kik profile pic she knows I play minecraft. She asked me to help her on her world and build things. I told her I'll text u pics of how to do a nether reactor then she wanted me to help with animals and farming.
I really don't know what to do.
I don't want to ignore And say get a life and some real friends or help a STRANGER with minecraft worlds.
Yes, I know she could be lying about her age, or playing minecraft, fake friends and her name but you never know
This is really bothering me. I've tried saying just please stop texting me but then she texts something way off subject. She said let's play minecraft together everyday and you can help.
I have no clue where she lives (good for her not telling me) but I didn't ask.

Error whilst purchasing minecraft?

I tried to purchase minecraft and i put in all my card details and double checked them and thry were correct. Then i pressed purchase and it said to check my card details and i checked again and they were correct. So i pressed submit and this came up "An unexpected error has occurred which prevented us from completing your purchase. Will someone please help me.

How to download minecraft on a tablet?

Had an old tablet that got broken. On that tablet, I had bought mine craft on it. For Christmas, I got a new tablet and I used the same sign in as I had with the other tablet (they are both android devices). Well, it won't let me download the game on this new tablet. Minecraft launcher won't work?

When I hit play it just closes the launcher and opens it again. What do I do?

Added (1). Ok, I just restarted my computer and now when I hit play it opens up the game and I see the Mojang logo then it bring me back to the launcher.

Minecraft ideas of what to build?

Okay, I've been playing minecraft for ages, I've made a massive house, an indoor swimming pool, an indoor stable, a train station(which has minecarts) , a hotel, a fun world with rollercoasters, and a ship. I really don't know what else to make, and I love making things and want to create a YouTube channel for my minecraft world once I've made more, but I just have completely ran out of ideas?

Is metal or plastic a better material to make laptops out of?

When I say better I mean better all around. More practical for cooling, housing components etc and for aesthetic reasons.

For years the laptops that I've owned have always been made out of plastic (except for the obvious parts that need to be made out of metal) until I purchased a Lenovo Y510p which was made out of metal.

I do a lot of gaming on it (Minecraft, Bioshock Infinite, Doom and GTA IV) and the side where the graphics card is does rank up a bit of heat. Does the fact that it is made out of metal help with the cooling at all?

Don't know why I'm asking this question, I just kind of wondered about it whilst running a benchmark.

So, yeah. I can barely get 60 FPS on Minecraft but can easily get about 55-60 FPS with everything on ultra in BF4. My old computer could kept a steady 200 FPS on Minecraft, but I never played BF4 on it, but it could run it just fine. Does anyone know why?

Added (1). I have 8 gb of ram on this computer. Also, could I just take the 2 sticks or ram (total of 18 gb) and just put them in my new computer from my old computer?
