So, yeah. I can barely get 60 FPS on Minecraft but can easily get about 55-60 FPS with everything on ultra in BF4. My old computer could kept a steady 200 FPS on Minecraft, but I never played BF4 on it, but it could run it just fine. Does anyone know why?
Added (1). I have 8 gb of ram on this computer. Also, could I just take the 2 sticks or ram (total of 18 gb) and just put them in my new computer from my old computer?
Depends how much ram you have on your pc and how much you use on minecraft personally I think 30fps or more is enough I run max with faithful 32x32 texture pack and get 30-60 fps and that's lag free for me.
also make sure you have 64 bit java if you have a 64 bit PC that majorly increases fps
Get a 64 bit java turn your fps to unlimited, turn off v-sync and put your render distance to 10 chunks I always play with fast graphics and decreased particles. With the asus gtx 650 I get 500 fps
