Good ideas for a minecraft lets play?

Hey ya'll! Ever since I got minecraft pc finally I've been looking to do a minecraft lets play series, and I finally created a youtube channel (WhiteGirlGamer or youtube.com/starbucksgamer for the url) Each series will be called the starbucks series #1 or 2 or whichever. First I will be playing minecraft, but I need ideas for what exactly I should do to start out. I was thinking of starting a single player survival world, but would that be too boring to start out? Please leave any ideas for what I could do to spice up my single player survival series if I choose to do this (I'm open to other ideas too
Lastly, slightly unrelated, but any ideas for a good intro so my videos aren't super boring? Thank you guys so much, and leave your youtube channel in your answer if you want and I'll sub to you.

Minecraft Factions Base Defense?

I'm currently playing on mc.mineagepvp.org and we have a pretty powerful faction. For some reason, people have been able to glitch into our base. Please help us build up our anti-glitch protections?

Right now we have a sand wall going from bedrock to skylimit with 3 layers of half-slabs at the bottom to prevent hybrids. Inside of this sand wall, we have a pretty small base, going from y:30 - y:60, which is just covered in a simple layer of water with half-slabs at the bottom once again. This inner base also has buffer layers at the top and bottom of the base, both two layers thick and completely empty. Therefore, I think the glitchers have been somehow entering through the side of the base, but that would mean going through a water-sand-water-clay wall. How should I improve the anti-glitch defense on my base? Any suggestions much appreciated.

Windows has shut down to prevent damage to computer?

So I was playing Minecraft on my Win 7 PC and when I went on fullscreen mode, My PC crashed after a few minutes and a blue screen appeared and said "Windows must shut down to prevent damage to computer" or something like that. But it did it agian when I played other games on fullscreen mode. Anyone know how i'd fix it?

Will this power supply overclock?

I'm hoping to overclock my graphics card (asus GTX 650) and my CPU (AMD FX 6300) to squeeze a little more performance out of it, but I'm a litte sceptical as to if my power supply can take the overclocking without dying, causing POST fail or general instabilities. I plan to run games like skyrim and minecraft with extreme shaders at a better framerate and other games on steam etc on high/max settings. I'm using a G7 power extreme 680 watt. It was very cheap in the sales last year, but they don't have a lot of positive reviews on amazon last time I checked. The CPU won't overclock past 4.00 ghz stable. 4.1 isn't good for gaming and 4.2 either fails or is very unstable. I have good cooling and the components are running cool and so is the power supply without being under full load for an hour, then it blows out warm air.

actually that's worse than I remember.
GPU: http://www.amazon.co.uk/...00AJ9XF3Q/
motherboard: http://www.amazon.co.uk/...00B293INE/
CPU: http://www.amazon.co.uk/...009O7YORK/

actually the 2.5 star review scares me a little bit, especially the review saying it's more like a 300 watt, but it's stable for me and runs well under it's current load, but with my intention to get a new gaming rig, I'd rather convince myself to stay with this one a while before I sell it.

GTX 650 With which processor?

I'm passing over my old graphics card (ASUS GTX 650 1GB) to my younger sister.
I'm looking at two different processors at the moment.

AMD Athlon ii x4 750k 3.4GHz, 4MB Cache, (4 Core, Socket FM2, 100W) = £56

OR

AMD A8 5600K (3.6GHZ, 4MB Cache, 4 Core, HD6570, Socket FM2, 100W) = £64.50

I'm curious as to which one will be better?

Will the A8 give a boost to gaming? Or will it cause problems (compatible issues possibly?)
She won't be into hardcore gaming. Mainly stuff like Minecraft, Terraria, Starbound etc. But she may want to try games like skyrim out and i'm curious as to whether the APU would give a lil boost of frames.

I'm on a really tight budget building a PC for my sister, so please don't recommend other processors.

If I do get the APU I will be getting a 8gb (2x4) 1600mhz ram. I heard though that 2400 mhz are more suitable for this type of processor though.

Good seeds for minecraft 1.7.4?

Blah blah blah, yeah i'm kinda new to the whole 'minecraft' thing, i've only had it for like three weeks and i guess i know enough about it. But. Any good seeds? My random generated world is like a bit lame? No cheats or what so ever, but it seems a bit. Dull. I guess i'm looking for something more interesting.
