Should i make a minecraft city in creative or survival?

I'm getting my new laptop tomorrow and i'm also going to get minecraft. I really want to make a city and i was wondering what is best, to make it in creative, or survival. At first i thought creative because i don't have to go hunting for resorces but then i thought about it and i think it would be boring. But i don't know where to find some of the resorses. Thank you.

p.s. Please go on youtube and subscribe to LTPgames because i will be posting my minecraft city building on there.

Where can I get Realms invitation?

I read there was a site I could get an invitation to use Minecraft Realms PE. I understand I have to pay a monthly fee. I can't even find a site to request an audience for considering giving me an invitation. I thought it'd be out by now for anyone. I hope someone knows.
Maybe someone could send an invitation to use THEIR Realm? I really want to get my own. But I want to play more than anything. Thanks for the help…

If you have Realms( and can let me on ) my Minecraft username is: vasuvius

Does RAM have drivers and where can I update them?

Ok so I upgraded my RAM from 8Gb - 16Gb but It appears to be having a reverse effect on my computer. Lots of programs and games are being slow/slower then when I had less ram, here is an example:
Minecraft 8Gb ram = 60FPS (even when using programs such as fraps)
Minecraft 16Gb ram = 30-50FPS standard and 10-20 FPS using fraps

Black Ops 2 8Gb ram = 60FPS
Black Ops 2 16Gb ram = 5FPS and now it doesn't even launch

Cod Ghosts: 8Gb ram = 30FPS MP
Cod Ghosts: 16Gb ram = 10FPS MP 20FPS SP

I know ghosts is already reported to be laggy but as you can see. Since the ram increase, it has become worse. After looking for solutions all I came across was update java/DirectX etc… But that didn't work. I then found someone saying update "ALL" your drivers. I have updated as many drivers as I can (including my monitor and usb devices) and it still doesn't make a difference. The only driver I didn't update is my RAM because I can't locate the area to update it. My friend told me you don't get RAM drivers but my other friend say you do (they are both pc smart so I don't know which to believe) So what should I do? Is their a fix for excessive lag when increasing RAM? Is their drivers for RAM and how do I update them? Please Help!

P.S here are my specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10 GHz 2.20 GHz
Ram: 16.0GB
GFX: nVidia Geforce GTX 460

Would this be a good gaming computer build for the price?

I'm trying to build my first gaming computer, but I'm on a limited budget ($640 including mouse and keyboard- not monitor since I already have one). It also goes without saying, I have little clue on what I'm doing.

I'm planning to use this build for the latest FPS games (such as CoD, battlefied), portal, as well as some less demanding games such as minecraft. I don't need to max out the settings, But i would love to be on high for those.

If you think I should replace some components for this build please tell me why and which component I should choose instead. But within my budget limit please.

This is the build:

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor $120 w/ promo code so $110

CPU Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 45.0 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler $23

Motherboard: ASRock 970 EXTREME4 ATX AM3+ Motherboard $100

Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1333 Memory $60

Storage: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1333 Memory $65 $5 mail in-rebate so $60

Video Card: Asus Radeon HD 7770 2GB Video Card $133 $15 mail in-rebate so $118

Case: Antec One ATX Mid Tower Case $56 $10 mail in-rebate so $46

Power Supply: Corsair Builder 430W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $40
$20 mail in rebate so $20

Keyboard: Corsair Raptor K30 Wired Gaming Keyboard $50

Mouse: Corsair Raptor M40 Wired Optical Mouse $54

What do you guys think?

Need some help to build my gaming PC?

So, I decided to build my own PC and thought that it should definetly be able to Minecraft even if I have texture packs and stuff and it may be able to play BF4 on 720p (I don't know if that's on med or high settings) and also play free-to-play online games like LoL (I don't play it but I think that it should have the potential to do that). It should also be able to play 1080p YouTube videos whatsoever.
Here are the parts I have:
-A 6-core proccessor (AMD FX 6300 to be exact)
-An AMD Radeon HD 6770 I think
-A 500 GB Hard Drive (Note: It says Segate in large text with a logo so I don't know if it's an SSD or HDD)
-A monitor, mouse and keyboard
I think I will get Gigabyte 78LMT as a motherboard and 4GB DDR3 RAM.
I know that I have to get a case, power supply and a fan.
Is there anything that I'm missing?
And anyone who is willing to guide me through the making proccess of this project I would be greatly thankful to him as this is my 1st try!

Thanks in advance!

Added (1). Stevenson thanks for those links but only 1st one worked for me.

Kalion I'm doing both

And James Thanks for that awesome tip and I swear that CPU fits in AM3 socket and the motherboard has an AM3 socket!

Lost on minecraft o.e

Okay. So, I was on minecraft and I thought I really want a pet dog. So, as i was on creative mode and coulsd fly, of course I went to the trees to find a wolf to tame, but didn't find one, so I set off back home. I knew where I was gojng, until it got dark so I stoped flying and went to explore for a bit. (I didn't sleep) then the sun came up and I saw some pigs near pumpkins whih I had seen on he way down, so I thought I was on the right track. Then, I came across some more. I've been lost for 3 minecraft days and nights now. I haven't used a bed whilst I've been lost, but I just don't understand how I'm lost, I have the brightest building ever with a massive skyscraper next to it yet I'm still lost xD I read some posts saying to use a compass, but does it work? My main areas where I began playing minecraft, like where I began the game, so would the compass guide me there? I'm so confused? I'm not new to minecraft but I've never been properly lost on it before so I've never used a xompass, what does it do?! Oh, and by the way I'm on peaceful AND creative mode atm. Someone help me become, erm, unlost?

Why won't my alienware laptop charge?

Everytime i've asked a question about my alienware more than half of the answers are "alienwares suck" Please don't say that because it get really annoying. Anyways. I was just playing minecraft with my computer charget plugged in and my screen suddenly dimmed down. I checked my charger and the little blue light that says it's charging wasn't on. I tried unplugging and repluging it in. Also, I moves the cord to about 4 different outlets. No luck. I have one of those extension things where you can plug several cords into it. I tried about every one of those. Tried unplugging the extension thing and plugging it back in, turned it on and off and still no luck. What's the problem? Please try to answer fast because my computer dies kind of quickly and I don't want to have to turn my brightness very low and such. By quickly I mean in the base hour or two. Thanks.

Added (1). My dad just had to turn off the power for a while and i didn't know. No problem here!
