Computer all of a sudden is super slow?

I need help my computer had never been this slow until today I haven't downloaded anything and all games i play frames are down like 60 fps and unplayable i recently set my computer to factory defualts and played minecraft and got 100+ fps now its at 40 fps on low settings and its unplayable someone please help?

Is 75 degrees too hot for a desktop when gaming/rendering?

Whenever I run Minecraft and Skype and Chrome all at once, usually just MC + Skype, I tend to get CPU temps in the low to high 70's in celsius on my CPU. My CPU is a AMD 8 Core FX 8320 at 3.5 GHz. HOWEVER, my PC is VERY easy to cool down. As only after about 5 minutes of turning Minecraft off, my CPU stays around 20 degrees celsius. Is this good or bad?

Improve FPS on minecraft due insufficient graphics?

I want to find a way to improve the FPS of my minecraft game. Specifically technic pack.

my specs are:
Dell inspiron 15R
CPU: i5 2nd gen 2.6 GHZ
Graphics: Intell HD Graphics
Memory: 4gb

i'm sure that my memory and CPU are sufficient enough. However i suspect that my graphics is the probelm. Any ways to up the FPS other than lowering the video setting (already lowest).

How to recover my worlds in Minecraft?

I've downgraded lots in the past with minecraft, and today i decided to do it again, only i realized i couldnt because of the new launcher, so, i took the beta bin out of my.minecraft folder and put back in my regular bin, only one problem, i lost all my worlds! I tried using all my back up bins on my computer to make sure i didn't use a blank bin on accident, but all of them were blank. I went to my saves folder to try to restore earlier saves from the past, but they were from the saves after this happened. What do i do?

Minecraft does not work on Windows 8.1 pro?

I updated to Windows 8.1 one day ago. I have installed all the updates from Windows Update, and then tried to run Minecraft.
It crashed me with this error "pixel format not accelerated" and suggested to update my video card drives. I have an ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1) video card, and I just check and device manager says that i have the latest version, but game still crashes.
