Minecraft does not work on Windows 8.1 pro?

I updated to Windows 8.1 one day ago. I have installed all the updates from Windows Update, and then tried to run Minecraft.
It crashed me with this error "pixel format not accelerated" and suggested to update my video card drives. I have an ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1) video card, and I just check and device manager says that i have the latest version, but game still crashes.

Install the Windows 8.1 driver for your video chip. It seems that you're running the default Microsoft driver which doesn't have OpenGL support which is required to run Minecraft. You'll want to download the latest driver from either the manufacturer or AMD.

The driver should be available though the PC manufacturer's web site. Visit their tech support section, enter your model number into their search feature, then navigate to the driver downloads. Get and install the 8.1 ATI Radeon 3000 driver and you should be able to play again.
