Why is my IMAC overheating?

My IMAC, which is now on the Mavericks OS, is burning hot. All it takes is 15 minutes of video or 10 minutes of Minecraft to burn my computer. The fans aren't blaring, but the casing burns my hand. I got my IMAC back in 08, so it's pretty old. Would that in any way impact the heat? Also, why would Minecraft burn my system. I would play World of Warcraft on high and very rarely have my computer be heated up to what Minecraft has. It'd also take longer for it to be heated up.

How to get rid of minecraft entirely?

Something happened to a file on my minecraft account and I messed up the whole thing. I want to get rid of it and buy it again because I'm super confused on what to do. I want to take it out of my iMac completely. I don't want to screw up again though so what do I do? Sorry I bet I sound dumb but I'm not good with computers.

Recommend Me a Gaming PC?

I was wondering if any of you could recommend me a new desktop computer for Gaming. There's only a few games I really play, Minecraft and RuneScape. With this computer I would like to play these games on higher settings, but I'd also like to stream on Twitch. (Although lower settings when livestreaming, you know what I mean lol). I'm 16 years old, and I'd like to get into doing that kind of stuff, I currently have a job, and would appreciate it if you kept the price lower, and around

My resource pack isn't downloading into minecraft?

I'm using an apple laptop to play minecraft (Yep a really stupid idea I know!) And I got the resource pack FancyCraft 32 but it is not going into my minecraft. I put it into the resource pack folder and clicked 'done' went back in, it wasn't there so I closed down minecraft, got it back up checked it was still in the folder and all that stuff but it is still not there! (No!) If anyone could help methat would be lovely!

Need a steam game for the Boyfriend. It's his birthday tomorrow?

My Boyfriend is working in a rural town and I really doubt my wine & hamper package is going to make it in time (because I forgot about the whole rural thing… And well, I'm not sure if he'd want that anyway). He's an avid gamer, playing all sorts of games, but I need something addictive, something he can start-up and stop at anytime, and most importantly something relaxing. He is currently playing World of Tanks, and says he likes the slow action, yet minor competitiveness and whatnot… But anyway, if there's a game you just like to zone off to frequently that would be good… Since his job is kind of difficult… Just no minecraft or Terraria suggestions please. XD

Of course any other suggestions are welcomed too.

RAM; 2x 1024MB@400Mhz
HDD: 500GB

When i start Minecraft.exe or other thing is just not even try to run is or is says:
programm is not reaction, or if i open Chome it just nor pop up, if i click with the lift buttom on an app
windows Exploer craches and i need to restart my pc, i have checked al driver and scanned with Malwarebytes for malware but nothing found, and also i have reset the notebook.
