Survival Games plugins for minecraft?

Alright so I'm trying to make a minecraft survival game server for me and about 9 other friends. I have maps installed but all the chests on them are empty and I was wondering if there was a plugin on bukkit so that it can fill up all the chests with something fair.

Additional plugin: At the beginning of the games of course, every player is stationed around the chests in the middle and I was wondering if there was a plugin to keep them from running to the middle before the starting time runs out. (i don't know how to word this one so if you don't get it, its fine.)

Having problems opening some files with notepad. Or anything?

I have been hosting a Minecraft server for me and a few close friends lately, and randomly I started getting this problem.

When I go to open the "server.properties" file i get an error message saying this

"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."

I've tried to go to the Default Programs and associate a file with the.properties folder but couldn't find it. I have also tried right clicking in the "server.properties" folder and going into its properties and changing the Open With program which is already set to "unknown application" to notepad but it does not respond and nothing has been changed.

I'm at a loss of what to do next, anybody please help.

Anyone willing to make a custom plugin for a minecraft server?

Ok, i'm trying to make my minecarft server unique, so i'm doing a bending server, I was wondering fi anybody could make me a custom plugin with air gliders and flying bisons and stuff from the show Avatar: The last airbender(Not the legend of korra, it sucks and it never happened). I need someone(or a group of people) to help me. I don't have any money to pay you so i'm offering, a unique rank on my server + your statue in the avatar hall + the ability have 2 elements and swith your elements(free of charge) and finnaly, avatar mode for a month.

I can't join minecraft servers?

I can't join any minecraft server except for my own?

I can't connect to my router admin pannel?

Ok so I was starting my minecraft server (Worked before) and I noticed that nobody could connect to it. I checked the server settings and it was ok and I have a static ip. So I went to check the router admin pannel to see if it was still port forwarded. So I type the usual 10.0.0.1 like I always do and it tells me to login so I do, and nothing happens it justs loads and loads and loads. I restarted my browser and now I can't even connect to 10.0.0.1 it says waiting for 10.0.0.1. I tried two different browsers and it still didn't work. I don't know what to do and I want my mc server to work again

Minecraft server not working? - 2

Ok so this is what's going on me and my friend have been trying to get on my server for a while now. I can get on my server but only when i use my internal ip i have port forwarded about 3 different times all with same result ( and don't worry i delete the previous one before attempting again) i have searched my public ip on 3 different websites and its all the same i have even tried to change the port to 25566. The command prompt also says that everything is workign perfectly and says "done" at the end. I'm on a pc with a 64-bit operating system. Btw i forgot to say that this is a bukkit server i'm trying to make. It only has 1 plugin ( not sure if that has to do with anything) please help as soon as possible

Is there a plugin which only enables admins to use vanish and other things in minecraft bukkit?

I'm trying to find a plugin for a private minecraft bukkit server. The thing that the plugin does is it enables admins to use for example /vanish but denies any normal player. I need this plugin because i don't want normal players to use the lightning stick and other stuff.

I'm trying to play minecraft hunger games on my MAC and every time I try to join a server it says "Failed to connect: Outdated server". What do I do. I bought it, I've had it for about 2 years now and I've never played multiplayer.

Minecraft lag on servers?

Quick question about this, should be pretty easy to answer. On a server I play on, sometimes I jump back several blocks, or when I open chests it takes a long time to open. In that time I can move around, but then I suddenly jump back. I'm sure some of you have seen this before, so do you know if this is a lag problem on my side? My fps are high the while time. Would it be something that optifine fixes?

HEROBRINE ON MINECRAFT PC 1.7.10 HAMACHI?

So my friend and i were playing on a hamachi server and we start getting random items out of nowhere like buckets of milk, skeleton skulls, seeds, etc. We thought it was just a glitch or something at first, but then we went mining bcuz we needed diamonds and it was all normal but we decided to leave after awhile and then all of a sudden we got more skulls and then we both suddenly got blindness 3. And we waited it out and then tried to go back to the surface but all of a sudden 3 creepers spawned from the sky and blew up the exit. The server than whispered to my friend "herobrine" when he asked if anyone was online. My friend who was the host came on to tp us from the mine and all of a sudden it whispers, "you are dead" IS HEROBRINE BACK ON MINECRAFT
