Whenever me and my sister try to get into some servers on minecraft, it keeps on saying "can't connect to server" but our internet is fine?
Added (1). by some i mean we can't get into about 6 servers. They all say "can't connect to server"

I'm looking for a cheap minecraft server hoster for under 5 dollars a month I only need 5 slots. It has to be easy to use like I want to upload my world to it without using the program to put things in your server. I already tryed tree puncher but when I loaded my saved world on my account it wasn't the file. I need a simple open world file.
I just find it annoying how after a while a new seed is made and all your work is deleted. I do understand that this means such a server would get outdated and other servers would get cool new maps and stuff, but thats ok. All I want is a server where all the progress I make won't get deleted some day, anyone know of such a server?
Ok, so i'm on this Minecraft server and i'm just randomly building my house and I fall. THen right as i would receive the pain or damage it kicks me and says "Internal Server Error" I log back on and get kicked wiith the same message. My friend says i log on then off. But i'm stuck and can't move or talk. The server is run by MCPRO host and is 1.7.4 I'm also an Admin and I can't join. I have deleted my.minecraft folder and redownloaded it and it still doesn't work. Please Help!

Added (1). There are no people currently on and my internet is always 3-4 bars and I'm the onlyone using wi-fi so it is fast. The server is a 24/7 server run by mcpro hosting. The owner pays for it monthly AMD it has great internet and no lag. Unless your internet is slow. There are also not upgrading because I'm the only one not able to connect.
For some reason when i play Minecraft CTF ( capture the flag) its lags my whole computer. I know my computer can run it i can play other servers on max its just CTF. It messes up everything I talk on skype with friends and it just messes that up too. Major lag for no reason its not my internet, i know my computer to run it, Please help.
Added (1). Its can't be the server because my friends don't have lag when we play the same server.

I'm a builder for my friends server, and she have asked me to make a HUGE village with high/middle/low class areas. I've finally finished the low class area, but I'm missing, obviously, the rules, I don't have that much. This is what I have. "Low class shall not enter middle/high class area, unless allowed. Are not permitted to eat high class foods. Any who are caught doing a crime toward a superior, shall be punished be said superior." And that's all I have, but I need more. Any ideas guys?
(PS: If you want, you can make the high/middle class rules too. It saves me points | 3) [Not sure if this helps, but I'm using the Egyptian class system, anyone in the scribes section is in middle class]
I just got a real Minecraft account (on a computer), but I downloaded the game a while ago and I have been playing offline already. But I have a few questions about how to play now that I'm online:
There has never been music or sounds in my game, and whenever I try to turn them on it just exits out of the game. I thought when I bought it this would be fixed, but it isn't. Why?
How do you make a Minecraft server?
Is there any other way to play with someone on a different computer?
How come no servers ever show up?
Do I have to download the game again to fix these problems?

Added (1). If you can only answer one or two questions, then please answer because I now most people won't be able to answer all of them at once.
After connecting to any Minecraft server all I see are players standing still with particles effects at their feet as if they should be moving. I can't type commands in chat, see any typing in chat except from the greeting that happens every time you log in, and load any chunks outside of the initial spawn area. I eventually get disconnected an error, which is either:
Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine
or
io.netty.handler.timeout.readtimeoutexc…
I have tried: Creating a rule to allow java through my firewall and launching minecraft as admin. Neither have worked and I restarted my router both times. To clarify, this happens on all servers. Is there any fix for this?

So, I have a minecraft server already port forwarded correctly and running properly. Then, Idecided to make a bukkit server. The server is running properly and I can only access it through localhost and my regular ip does not get a connection to the server.
