So, I have a minecraft server already port forwarded correctly and running properly. Then, Idecided to make a bukkit server. The server is running properly and I can only access it through localhost and my regular ip does not get a connection to the server.

Try adjusting the server properties file, I had issues with one of my servers where icould only have it public if I put my default ip in the ip slot instead of the actual one.
