I can't OP myself in my OWN Bukkit server?

Ok so i have been hosting in a Vanilla Minecraft server for a while now prob about a year and a half now and i have been looking at Bukkit severs and i wanted to try this out so i started a Bukkit server… But… I can't OP myself! I have tried everything like i have tried to do it the same way i did it for a Vanilla where you just enter your name into the ops.txt or type "op name" in the sever console but this does not work. After this i looked over a lot of forms and many say to try and use Permissions Ex or GroupManeger i have tried both they didn't work… I did everything exactly like the tutorials and nothing. I even set the default group to have permissions to all commands and i still can't use commands in game on my server. Can someone help me because this is really getting on my nerves.

My Minecraft isn't working?

My problem is that every few steps I take i get placed back to where i began and I'm facing the ground. I logged out and got back on again and it was still doing the problem. I thought maybe it's just the world that I'm on so I switched to a different world and still had a problem. I tried it on a server and it still kept putting me back where I began. Can anyone help fix this problem?
If I keep my person looking straight while walking then it won't teleport me back to where I began. But once my person starts looking around then the problem starts up.

I can't connect to my minecraft server? - 2

I've Googled the problem, but all the answers people gave each other was "try localhost". Well, I tried that, and it didn't work. I tried everything I could find. I would really like some help with this.
Thanks.

Added (1). Other people can connect to the server, though. I've Googled the problem, but all the answers people gave each other was "try localhost". Well, I tried that, and it didn't work. I tried everything I could find. I would really like some help with this.

Looking for a really cheap minecraft server host?

I've run servers before but ran out of money so I stopped. I really want to get back into it again but I have very little money so I need a really cheap one. If anyone knows of a really cheap host, please let me know.

Also, if anyone would like to run this server with me once I do get it up, that would be awesome.

My IPv4 is 25.96.77.58
External IP: 94.72.164.233
Please help.

Added (1). @arantxio: The problem with me is that my router interface is different and I have WAN and LAN ports like on the pic, I have done what is shown on the video but it still says that my port is closed.

Added (2). Thanks Lewis, I just needed to restart after portforwarding!

What's exactly is a server?

So I'm kind of a gamer, but I can't help to notice that video games like GTA V, Minecraft use a server when connecting to online. From my understanding, I think a server is like a giant supercomputer from different parts of the country that holds LOTS of space, weather it be a YouTube video, Facebook photos, etc. And that if I were to start say an online session on GTA C, the server would be capable of holding all of the information necessary to run the game online (the online 3D world, the missions, etc). So if I were to leave my car in Los Santos on the streets and drive to Sandy Shores and I come back to Los Santos, I should be able to find my car once again, since the GTA V servers have the whole game put online.

So is all that I'm saying true?
