I tried this method: http://www.howtogeek.com/173044/how-to-run-low-cost-minecraft-on-a-raspberry-pi-for-block-building-on-the-cheap/ to get a minecraft server running (except a didn't run over an ash or command line as I prefer the desktop environment) and I tried their java command but my pi came back with a 404 error and "no such directory exists" when I tried to check the java version (it said it had downloaded files weirdly) how can I get java on my pi?
Thanks
Added (1). Didn't run it over ssh
So I recently got my minecraft server running using BukkitGUI. I really want this plugin called "SmartArrows" so I installed it. Then I stopped and restarted my server twice and loaded minecraft. On Minecraft I did /plugins because that shows all the plugins I have installed. All of my plugins were there except SmartArrows. I'm a newbie and wasn't sure if there's anything else to do. All my other plugins worked just by installing it and using the appropriate command in Minecraft. SmartArrows commands won't work and neither will it appear in plugins in minecraft. On BukkitGUI it says I have installed it and I checked if it is compatible and it is (1.7.2). What should I do? Is there anything else I need to do?
Help?!
Here is the link to the plugin I want,

Added (1). It's not Jack, I have installed other plugins that are 1.7.2 just like the version of my Bukkit, and they work. It's just SmartArrows don't work. Is there anything more I need to do other than just install the plugin and restart the server?
Is it possible to make a minecraft plugin server without bukkit?
I'm creating a mini-parkour server on minecraft and I'm using TNT witch destroys buildings. How can I re-build them wihout building? With a command?
I set up a minecraft server, it works fine for me but my girlfriend can't connect to it. I have plenty system specs to to do it (GTX 680, Athlon II 640, 16 gb/ram 8 dedicated to it, Win7 64 bit). I have the start.command file nessacary for it to run. Any help?
My 3 friends and I have been trying to connect to a server together for months. They made one and were all able to connect but my computer wouldn't even detect any servers at all and we thought it was because my Minecraft was pirated. I bought the actual version and we're all connected to the same router via ethernet cables but my computer still won't detect anything. Is there a setting I should know about or something?
I want to make am minecraft server and I want to know if I can trust these guys?
I want to make a 24/7 minecraft skyblock server for free, but don't know how to.
On some forums that I frequent, someone has been taking about Minecraft and they posted it in the MMO sub-forum. However, I don't view Minecraft as being an MMO. I'm going to post the discussion I had with the person.
Me:
"Minecraft isn't an MMO, it's a game that has a Multiplayer aspect. An MMO is a game that's connected to the internet all the time and to keep playing it you'd need an internet connection consistently. MMO's don't have a choice between single player or multiplayer.
If Minecraft is an MMO then other games that have Multiplayer aspects are as well. Like GTA Online except they aren't. Because MMO's don't have a set amount of how many players can come on at one time. Minecraft and GTA Online both have a minuscule cap on how many people can play at any given time."
Them:
As far as I'm concerned those games which have multiplayer online are MMO's. The cap is superficial, it only limits how many ppl are on a server, even large scale MMO's have caps, look at World of Warcraft, they limit the number of ppl per server. The servers are online all the time/i], just like with any other MMO, they don't stop being there when you are no longer connected. Just because a game can do more than one thing doesn't mean it is any less either of those things. That's like saying a game can only be an RPG or a shooter it can't be both.
I don't believe that games like Minecraft, GTA (5) Online, Diablo 3 are MMO's. Because MMO's don't have a choice in what type of mode you want to play. (I.E. Single-Player and Multiplayer) MMO's only have one type of mode. Who do you think is right?
Added (1). I forgot to add quotes to the word on the opposition. Starts below the word them.
"I don't believe" is also apart of my viewpoint and question.
