I'm trying to find a new Username for Minecraft… I'd like a neutral name (does not sound too manly nor girly kinda a mix) Since I will be sharing it with my cousin. I tried these but they didn't work:

I was playing Minecraft on a computer running 32-bit Vista SP1 and it worked fine, I then updated the computer to SP2 and here's where the problem came. I opened Minecraft like normal, hit "play" the launcher closes itself like normal then opens a new window that's completely black, a moment later the window closes and the launcher re-opens to where it was a second ago, I hit play again and the cycle continues. I then deleted the Minecraft launcher, the.minecraft folder and reinstalled java, restarted the computer and the same thing happen. How do I fix this? Anything helps, thanks
I have a GTX 770, so I can run anything. I can play games like Far Cry 3 on ultra high, but when I play minecraft I use a 512 resolution texture pack. I run at a perfect 60 fps(that's as high as my computer will allow my fps to go to) but when I start minecraft it takes so long, it even does the not responding. Is there a way to speed up the load time?
I have a i7 3770k at 3.5ghz and 16 gigs of ram if that helps at all.
A lot of my friends say it's a great game but, i'm not sure if I should buy it costs almost 30 bucks.
I've Been Wondering Why + I've Heard That They Suck At Gaming E.G 120-FPS At Minecraft Like Its Hard To Use And Why Did It Come Out It Sucks Sort Of Like I Got My Frigen Laptop For $800 And It Could Handle Black Ops 2 But Sadly It Has Huge Problems With The Graphics Card BUT WHY ARE MACS So FRICKEN EXPENSIVE?!

I want preferably a laptop but i willing to look at a desktop. I want a 17 inch display and at least 6 gb of ram. My budget is around $400-$450 I plan on using it for Excell word surfing the Web school and the occasional game (minecraft mostly)
I haven't played my torrented Minecraft since 1.5.2. I want to start playing again, but I can't update to 1.7.2. I have clicked the "force update" button, and it said it updated, but I'm still on 1.5.2.
OK, so I just bought Minecraft and I really want to play it. But the thing is, it won't let me. When I open up the launcher, I'm logged in and I'm on version 1.7.4! So… I click play and it opens up a tab where it blends in with the background behind it. (a.k.a. You can see through it) I can also hear the music and then about 5 seconds later, it automatically switches back to the launcher.
Any ideas? I have tried almost everything! (Restarted my computer, deleted Minecraft and re-installed it, switched versions, tried installing other link, and logged out and logged back in!)

I made this world in survival and i work so hard to build my house and everything else and yet to notice i have no water/: in my world. I was thinking to add water in creative Called kyoceramode then change it back to survival and keep on playing… I'm not a cheater just need the water.
