What kind of Game to pick?

I'm using a laptop (Lenovo) and I want to play a video games such as minecraft, assasins creed 3, devil may cry (dmc), resident evil, etc.
Also, when I download RE6 and Assasins Creed 3, it doesn't start, so maybe i'm thinking that this games are maybe not compatible to (my) laptop.

Will you help me pick some games that's compatible for laptop, sort of.

Any games that will work, but not cheap and kinda boring one.
I like stratregy games, RPG, Action Adventure, Miscell.

Java won't install correctly for me?

I want to install Java on my computer because it stopped working and I deleted it and when I tried to reinstall it, it would either:
Become a plugin only for Google Chrome (Still wouldn't work in Chrome)
Or a file was corrupted and it wouldn't continue installation
I want to install it for Minecraft
I have tried restarting my computer and more, but nothing will work.
I don't know what else to add but heres info that might help

Computer: Windows 8 Dell
Java attempted to download: Version 7 Update 51
Browsers used to download: Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer

I hope someone can help me!

Added (1). I forgot to add, often when I try to run a.exe file it doesn't load at all, only probably 20% of.exe files I download often work.

Added (2). Tried Ironic's suggestion-Wouldn't work at all

Added (3). When trying to download java using the offline version, it says
"Can't run this app on PC"

Added (4). I tried the clean boot, but it said it did not affect any of the files because nothing is wrong, but java still won't install.
I have AVG and after using it, java STILL won't install. I honestly don't know what is wrong, and my computer is saying that everything is fine.
Either I'm somehow downloading the wrong file, or my computer just won't accept java.

Computer randomly shuts off - More details below?

Pc specs I could find:

Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 810 Processor with 2.60 GHz

RAM: 8.00 GB (7.75 GB usable)

System type: 64-bit OS

I have windows 7 ultimate but I've have had it since 2009 and it's now also started saying it's not genuine and I need to upgrade to a better version.

When I play games that take up a bit of RAM or are bigger games like LOL (League of Legends) Minecraft, or Runescape it shuts off. Then after it shuts off it takes atleast 20+ tries to start it up again and get past the user login screen, where I choose my user or main account. Once I try it shuts off again and again. I've cleaned a lot of space from my pc so it has a lot of GB, and the dust from inside my computer. But when I get home after school the pc turns on fine and then once I run Minecraft for 10 minutes it shuts off and then the problems begin. This problem has affected my Youtube channel and my upload times. If you need more details tell me how to get them. Also you may have to explain the answer more to me because I have low intelligence about the inside of computers and that stuff. And also I can't set my pc back to a saved checkpoint because my Mom is doing online classes and has a lot of Microsoft Word documents saved for all of her assignments so if you can tell me how to protect them if I do roll my pc back to the checkpoint before all this happened.

I wanna be famous on YouTube for gaming?

I have almost everything a gamer needs. I have a decent Capture Card Avermedia HD I have some good games that I can play very great such as GTA, Naruto, Minecraft and many more games! But the only thing that's stopping me Is the way the video looks and not enough support. For some strange reason My Avermedia converts the video in MP4 format which makes it more harder cause I have to convert it to WMV which looks very bad (I edit it my videos with Sony Vegas) so I render the video in HD 720P it looks still looks like crab. So I think twice about uploading it cause I know no one isn't going to take the time out to look at my videos. Not to mention nobody looks at my stuff. I just wanna be notice on YouTube just like Pewdiepie or even dashie. YouTube is a very hard place to fit in.

Which laptop is best for gaming?

http://www.frys.com/product/7873019?site=sa:adpages%20page:P20_FRI%20date:012414

http://www.costco.com/...leOptOut=1

I think the first one is better, but I'm no expert so I want some help.
I'll be using this laptop on a daily basis for mainly medium gaming but my budget is tight so there's no way I'm paying for a $1000 laptop. I'll also be using this laptop for school work/art and Facebook/tumblr, youtube etc general internet surfing.
The games I plan to play are Skyrim, Dragon Age (both, and hopefully Inquisition), Minecraft and The Sims. Maybe a little bit of movie streaming, too.
Which laptop is better for what I need and why?

Is there a gaming laptop that cost 500 or less?

I really like to have my first gamming laptop to play on. I wanted to get the 1000$ ones but my dad will probably say no since its alot of money. So anyways if they are gamming laptops less that 500 can i play games like minecraft, sims, call of duty ghost maybe? Can i?
