Need game recommendations?

I'm looking for a good free roaming rpg game ( I prefer swords and spells type games but I can probably work with whatever) just want something I can have fun with with just questing.

Note: here are a list of games that I have already played, and games I don't really care about.
Any of the Elder Scrolls series
Any of the Fallout series
Any of the Far cry series
Minecraft
Both witcher games
Dragon age games
Borderlands 1 & 2
I'm not looking for online games
And yes, I have played Warcraft ( to death)
Not too interested in side scrollers but if you have one I may listen
Not looking for anything like GTA
The old republic games
The Fable series
And there are prob a few other I haven't mentioned

FYI: I'm a PC gamer, I do have steam, and a boss computer.

How well do the following graphics cards perform on Minecraft and Call of Duty?

I'm getting a new PC and i'm having trouble on which graphics card to choose. I'm going to be playing lots of Minecraft and Call of Duty and I was wondering which graphics card would work best with these specs, 6GB of RAM,4th generation Intel® Core™ i5-4200M Processor. The graphics cards are.Intel® HD Graphics.NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M Graphics with 2048MB of dedicated video memory.NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M Graphics with 4096MB of dedicated video memory
So, for each graphics card I want a Scale of 1-10 for both games on how well they would perform on those games.

NOTE: If you think that I need more RAM please tell me, Thanks!

Computer crashes when playing games?

When I begin playing a game, it runs perfectly smoothly, even on high graphics settings. After a 1-5 minutes however, my PC will make this sort of revving noise, followed by the fps getting choppy, if the game is not immediately exited out of, the image crashes and the sound that was playing loops, creating a buzzing sound usually. I have tried this with a number of games, all wielding the same result in the end.

Games tested with: World of Warcraft, Minecraft, Orcs Must Die and Skyrim. I can play less CPU intensive games such as Minecraft for longer than, say, Skyrim. I have cleaned out my tower with compressed air, de-fragged and error checked my drive, all with no result.

This is really bugging me as I'mm unable to play any of these games I've purchased, this problem has persisted for about a week now and I'm tired of it.

Graphics problems. Ripples/Waves in game?

Every game I have, i have to cap the FPS at 30-55 or 65+ or I experience Ripples / Waves moving down my screen when I move. Is there any way to fix this other than v-sync, considering some games v-sync causes lag?

V-sync does fix the problem, but in some games, it simply causes lag for some reason and i want to avoid V-syn at all costs.

Graphics: EVGA Nvidia GTX760 4GB FTW
Windows 7 Prof 64-bit
12GB RAM
Intel i7 950 Quad @ 3.06Ghz

Some games I experienced this on:
Guild Wars 2
CoD Ghosts
Vindictus
League of Legends
Minecraft (with and without OptiFine)
BattleField 3 and 4
Assassins Creed 1 and Black Flag
