Whenever I play Minecraft (1.7.5) it always lags. What I mean by lag is that I get 5 fps on average, literally. I have tried to give it more ram, set the priority to high, set the video settings to run faster, and I still get 5 fps. As of now, Optifine hasn't been released for 1.7.5, and Optifine is usually an update below the current version. Can anyone help me?
I've been thinking about the gtx 750 but thought it was overkill.
Is there a gpu around $100 that:
Pulls less than or equal to 200 watts
Can run minecraft at Atleast 200 fps
Not be overkill
Not cost too much

I recently bought a new gaming pc over amazon for $1000 and it really sucks in the "gaming" department. Whenever I play games that I've bought over steam, they lag like ****. Whenever I play any game it lags immensely, probably around 15-20 fps. In certain features of the game the fps is literally like 5 fps, such as zooming through a scope of a gun. The only game I can play that has no lag is Minecraft.
What should I do in terms of speeding it up to maybe, i don't know something like 80 fps?
Should I buy any better hardware? Is my RAM bad or my graphics card?

RAM: 16 GB

This may sound like a stupid question, but bear with me here. I know animals don't breed unless I feed them but if I had blue sheep inside a fenced in area, would blue sheep naturally spawn in the same general area outside the fence. I keep seeing colored sheep (blue, green, red, etc.) running around outside the fence, but I don't seem to be losing any sheep. I have my fence two posts high if that matters.

I was making a circus thing and while I was building it I blocked up the door with iron blocks (It was creative mode) there were some rainbow sheep in there, one named Dinnerbone, one Grumm, and one jeb_. I also had a creeper named Boomie in it. I deleted the door to get out and two of these things went everywhere. This is just a picture of one of them, and its squirming around in that hole. It doesn't seem hostile (Of course, I'm doing creative mode and I tamed a zombie pigman, enderman, and a friggin creeper) and its quite fast when not stuck in a hole.
