How to get resource packs for minecraft to work properly?

I have tried to apply multiple versions of multiple packs but to no avail. Every time I apply a resource pack all the world blocks(stone, dirt, cobblestone etc.) disappear and there's have no world at all except for torches pictures and other. I have been using texture packs and resource packs for a while and this has never occurred I do not know what the problem is but no resource pack seems to work. I have tried TextureEnder on new packs this did not world either. I have the latest MCpatcher. I have downloaded texture packs and resource packs successfully before.

Is there an answer to my dilemma?

What is a good gaming computer? - 1

I have watched gaming videos and would like to make my own gaming channel. But the problem is that i don't know anything about computers. I would like to start off my channel by playing Minecraft and Maplestory and The Sims 3. I would like to know what computer is good for recording gameplay and commentary. Also if i could get a cheap one. Well it doesn't have to be too cheap, i just don't want it to be super expensive.

Minecraft: why can't I find the end stronghold?

I have used 35 eyes of ended and I found the point to dig down and find it. Except, my eye went into the floor so I dig down n down until the eye hovers. So I dig down some more and find a pit of lava. No stronghold yet. Would or could ut be under the lava?

I spent ages looking for it 2 hours solid and nothing. Should I use water and look below the lava

Does anyone else think minecraft is creepy? Specific mention to the new minecraft movie?

The most alluring things that attracted me to minecraft is how creepy it seemed. The primitive environment, monsters, heavy java programming making its iconic graphics, and the soundtrack really evoke this downright creepy feeling that i crave. The second being its adaptability. I doubt the movie will emulate these feelings which makes me very very sad…

Does anyone share this feeling? What will the movie be like?

Added (1). Robert i like the creepy feeling. Bad graphics is always creepy in 3D games(yes i know it isn't true 3D) except racing games.

How to become a professional Minecraft modeller?

I love modelling buildings. Not so good with redstone but I could improve with time. I have made many static structures such as apartments and offices complete with detailed floorplans. I was wondering if there's a degree program where I could model buildings in Minecraft professionally? Like you work on a project and sell the rights to the model or you make it to someone's spec and they pay you for it? I would love to quit my day job and do this instead!

Ok i'm 14 years old and i used to have a cracked version of minecraft but it got deleted a while ago… I can't buy the game because obviously i don't have a credit card/bank account etc and my parents won't buy me new games… If there's a website can somebody tell me the link?
Or is there a way to copy pate minecraft from one of my friends computers?
