CHEAP Laptop to Play Computer Games On? (Mostly Minecraft)?

This summer I will be taking a course at a local college for video games. One of them I signed up for is a Minecraft designers camp. I know that requires a trusted core processor and some form of decent graphics card, so one with an i5 core processor and a NVIDIA graphics card I think will do the trick. I would like a computer under a thousand dollars, and the least amount of money, the better, since I'm only fourteen and can't make much cash. Yet.

My current computer that I'm talking to you on is my school computer and it's a MAJOR piece of ****. It literally keeps lagging every time I type a sentence. So, I would like either a PC or a CHEAP Macbook. And I'm not really a nerd, so if you could list some examples of computers that fit my needs, (not just for gaming, also for video editing, Skype-ing, and schoolwork) that would be great.

What is an affordable laptop that can run skyrim at high settings for at least $800?

My Lenovo V570 is finally on it's death bed and I want an affordable computer that can handle quite a few games that the Lenovo couldn't. Here is a list of games I would like it to run on at least medium or high (preferably high): Skyrim, Payday, Minecraft, Space Engineers, Metro 2033, Metro Last Light, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Why does my minecraft video lose quality?

I'm trying to upload a Minecraft video with commentary. After recording the gameplay the quality was fine, even tested it on youtube and it came out as 720p. But I ran into a problem after putting the video into windows movie maker and adding mp3 quality and then saving as an avi the quality comes out horrible. Why is that?
