3D modeling using blocks (minecraft style) snap is important which softare?

Hi, it's a complicated question to do, but it's really easy in substance.

I want to 3D model objects using 3d blocks
well exactly I want to make an assets of 3D objects to use like a cube module, so maybe a sphere but always inside a 3d cube

Well, not easy to explain, let's take a cube o 1m / 1m
and a sphere of 1m /1m
and a cone 1m / 1m
and a piramid 1m / 1m
(oky maybe now is better)

And I want to use them all to build a 3d model
adding piece by piece to (a sort of minecraft / lego way)

But which software can I use?
I tryied blender but is not so user friendly and the snap tool is muddled
I'll try sketchup too, but sketchap is way too simple, and I can't ad detail later

any advice?

Would a ASUS Transformer Book T100 Be good for gaming?

Well, I was planning to want this for my birthday, And i mainly wanted to use it for gaming.
Is it good for gaming? I'm looking how much fps there could be, and the games i'm going to play is valve games. Mainly, team fortress 2 and minecraft sometimes. Could you tell me if there's a better, cheaper laptop than this?

Macbook pro lags when recording?

I have a slight issue with my Macbook pro. I have used many software such as Screenflow, and Quicktime to record my gameplay on my mac, but when even i record my macbook suddenly starts to lag like crazy. The games i usually record are Black Ops and Minecraft. It drops down to like 15 FPS, that's how bad it lags.

Other than that, when it isn't recording it is about 60-100 FPS.

Can anyone find a solution to this?

Here are my specs:

Macbook pro retina late 2013

2.4 GHz Intel core i5
8gb 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel iris 1024 Mb
os x 10.9.2

Minecraft inventory dark?

I don't know how I tuned this feature on, but all of a sudden my entire inventory is darkened. It's not a brightness issue, I always have mine at the brightest. But with my darkened, greyed out inventory boxes it is sometimes hard to tell some items apart.
