Macbook pro lags when recording?

I have a slight issue with my Macbook pro. I have used many software such as Screenflow, and Quicktime to record my gameplay on my mac, but when even i record my macbook suddenly starts to lag like crazy. The games i usually record are Black Ops and Minecraft. It drops down to like 15 FPS, that's how bad it lags.

Other than that, when it isn't recording it is about 60-100 FPS.

Can anyone find a solution to this?

Ok, I guess you don't understand how screen recording works…
NOT that your computer is slow, but even it manages to play games, screen recording will slow it down immensely. A screen recorder can use over half of your processing power and unfortunately, you really don't have the best of gaming specs. So even though you can play games well enough, screen recording eats up your processor.

Aura
