Can the macbook pro do this?

I want to buy the mac book pro standard model except with 8 gb of ram. I don't know if it has the right amount of power i need. I want to do light gaming like minecraft or gmod and i also want to do video/picture editing(Photoshop) and (premier/final cut pro). I also would like to do school work and animating by using blender or eventually better programs like cinema 4d. Is this macbook good enough for what i want to do? Please help and if not suggest other computers that would also be good for what i want.

Minecraft - Failed To Login: Java.net.UnknownHostException session.minecraft.net?

A few days ago we had a bad weather storm at my home and the internet router stopped working. Eventually, it turned back on and I tried to play Minecraft (modded on the AtLauncher) but I got this error message.

Websites also do not load unless it continually refresh them over and over. Google is the only website that doesn't do this, strangely.

I've just started playing minecraft with my 5yr old, advice please?

So I've just started playing minecraft with my 5yr old, and I had done some research beforehand. All of which told me that if we play in creative mode then there would not be zombies etc.

However, we're playing in creative mode and there are zombies, and creepers and skeletons.

Why?
And is there a way to play "nicely" / without scary things for the little ones?
