My birthday is coming up and i wanna get a laptop for school and just chilling. I also wanna be able to play minecraft and cod zombies on the computer. So, should i get a higher end laptop for school and to be able to play games, then get a pc for strictly games in the future. Or would it be wiser to buy a cheap chromebook for school and be able to still afford a pc right away? Which then brings me to my next question. Would a 500$ custom pc be the right price for minecraft and cod zombies and other lighter games? I won't be playing BF4 or anything so is 500 good? Do i need to go higher? Or can i even go cheaper and upgrade later?
Okay so in Minecraft their are slime blocks that people have been using to create jump- pads. Now I thought I would try it, so I went into creative to mess around with it and I couldn't find slime blocks. So I tried to make some with the slime balls and that didn't work either.
I have the latest version of minecraft 1.7.10 and I don't know why I can't find slime blocks.
I've just paid for it a few minutes ago and I'm able to go to the home page and click download but it directs me to a new pop up that only allows me to play the demo. I've tried searching on the internet for a few hours now I have come up with nothing.
Lately I've been seeing alot of complaints and reasons to hate something that just seem to miss the whole point. Ex: There are too many kids on Minecraft. Mortal Kombat has too many fight scenes. Some cartoons are treating their audiance like 10-year olds. And worst of all: "Avartar: The Last Airbender" is terrible because all *dubbed anime* is bad. I have seen all of these and the last one doesn't even make sense. Are people getting too worked up without reason these days or is just me?
I have a new laptop but before I got it I played on a different laptop but since I got a new one I no longer play on the old one, and my cousin has a minecraft account but we can't figure out how to log out of my account so she can log in to hers.
It has to play Minecraft at its max settings and be headset compatable I don't care how cool it looks I would like around a 15 inch screen I need to know how much it would cost to have it built for me
The screenshot shown below says it all. (Settings, Ect.) I like know what else can I do to help my Minecraft lag? Added (1).

My FPS whilst playing Minecraft usually ranges from 60 - 90 fps whilst using maximum render distance and maximum graphical settings, without optifine. For some reason, when using even the least appealing shader packs, I drop down to around 10 fps whilst on minimal settings. I've allocated 5GB of RAM, and it barely uses 10% of that.
My PC specs:
- Intel i7 (8 cores) 2.4GHz
- NVIDIA Geforce GT 650M graphics (2GB)
- 8GB of RAM
- Windows 7 64bit
- Currently running DirectX 11
- Using latest java update
Any help is appreciated!
