Help downloading Minecraft on PC?

Ok so I tried to download Minecraft on my Windows 10 PC multiple times. Every time I download it, I try to play it but it says something like "Files are corrupt" or something like that. Anyone know what to do?

FIRST PC BUILD. I Need Opinions?

I have been researching for about 2 months now and I feel these are the right parts for me. The build would be for school work, you tube, Minecraft (High - Med) and GTA V (Low-Med).

I opted out of an SSD for now as I don't have the money but i will get one in the future. I also opted out of getting a optical drive as I can just boot up windows via USB. I don't need an aftermarket cooler as I don't intend to overclock. (The i5 4460 can't overclock anyway).

I need opinions if you think i'm over killing on some parts and maybe I could get cheaper alternatives?
Or is this build perfect?

Added (2). Wow. I didn't expect it to be that good at running LoL and MC. Now here is the real challenge. I'm building this PC for my mom, and she is a hardcore Minesweeper player. How will this build do with Minesweeper?
