I just downloaded minecraft forge 1.7.10, and after the game is done loading the mojang screen doesn't show up, I would like to play with my mods but I need to know if forge works first. (Yes I know I don't need forge for mods).
I know sims 3 mods. Is it any similar to that? Or no. Can I have an easy step by step process as well? I'm not good at following instructions because the words get mixed up in my head. So try and make it as simplified as possible, while still being correct and effective.
Me and two friends were playing Minecraft Agrarian Skies yesterday. We were smelting some ores for some quests when me and one friend heard an alarm and in the Minecraft chat, there was: "Someone doesn't like you. Someone with power." Is this part of a mod? Does it have anything to do with the Angel Blocks we got from Reward Bags?
Me and a friend are starting a gaming channel as we play multiple games for entertainment for us (and others perhaps?)
But a lot of channels out there have custom profile pictures and backgrounds that look really neat. But seeing how I'm terrible at art there's no way I can do the artwork myself and i'm just wondering if there's an alternative way.

Ok, I had this same problem when I was trying to install it on 1.6.4, but I can't remember how I fixed it. I installed NEI correctly and installed CodeChickenCore with it. When I load up my Minecraft, neither mods show up on the mods list, and they won't activate in game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, used a mod installer, everything, and I can't get it to work. I tried to install Waila and I got a message saying that NEI wasn't installed. All that I can guess is that Minecraft simply isn't detecting the mods, which is odd, as CCC and NEI are the only mods it ever has this problem with on my computer. Any suggestions?
And yes, I deleted the META-INF files.
So I want to get a gaming computer (Desktop) that supports games and more specifically newer games such as Call Of Duty, Battlefield, Minecraft, Garry's Mod, and a bunch of other PC games. My budget I think I'm looking at is around 900-1000$. I have an idea in mind that I should go to Canada Computers and ask them to build me a computer because I have no clue how. I was wondering If I'd be able to get a fast and really reliable desktop for that price. Will a computer with that budget be sufficient or no?
Yea I want to download a map mod but I don't know how. I have a Dell Inspiron N5110 with windows 7.
I might buy a Minecraft server from a site called Beastnode. I can't create a server for some reason, so after a year of trying, I know I'll have to buy one. I was going to get one from Beastnode which allows me to put mods on my server. If I do, will everyone else need to have those mods installed also? The mods with all be mods for FML (forge mod loader). So, will they just have to have FML installed? Thanks in advance to anyone who answers. But only answer the questions I asked. I don't need to know how to make a Bukkit server instead or any of that. Just answer my questions please.

Well I ran into a huge issue with minecraft. I'm trying to intall a mod for minecraft but I don't have a bin folder or a mod folder so I don't know where to put the mods. I know that the recent updates don't involve having a bin folder but when I looked up how to install mods, recent answers were saying to put it in a mod folder that I don't have so I'm extremely oblivious as to how I really install mods.
When I use the Sonic Ethers Unbelievable Shaders, players, some blocks and all held items are just a gray box.
