I'm trying to download Pixelmon mod for Minecraft and I have forge. Basically my problem is that it is supposed to be a.zip and i'm supposed to put the zip folder in there, however every time I download it it shows up as a.jar. I've tried to run it anyway and the mod doesn't show up in the mods list in the minecraft client, the rest of the forge mods do so I don't know what's wrong. I downloaded the correct forge client from the pixelmon website too.
Ok so i want to mod MineCraft and i can't find my.bin and.jar files. I do the %appdata& thing and i click.minecraft and there's not a.bin file, and i belive you need that file for the.jar file.to mod MineCraft. And i was wondering if i could like, create a.bin file and make a.jar file and put them in the.minecraft file, but befor i do that I wanna know if there's a differant way to do this.

My minecraft is version 1.7.10. How do you install mods and can you get a mod that is made for an earlier version such as 1.7.2

Ci inserico forge modloader, avvio minecraft dopo che crasha rivado in %appdata% vado sulla cartella lib sostituisco i file nella cartella con quelli dell'errore fml (i file sono giusti perche sul computer portatile va) avvio minecraft e crasha, ho provato di tutto e su internet nnt… Aiuto! Per favore. Vorrei dire che il gioco senza mod va e con le mod no perche?!
