Do I have to remove my adblocker?

A while back I got adblocker plus for google chrome. It's worked great, being able to do things without all the annoying advertisements, but now I've run into a slight problem.

You see, I play minecraft quite a bit, and usually download mods or resource packs for it. Of course, many sites now use adf.ly, which usually puts ads up. For a while it would just tell me I had adblocker on and ask me to turn it off, then it started to actually make the download stop, so I added adf.ly to the exceptions, and everything was good. Now, however, even with adf.ly in the exceptions the download does NOT start. All it has is the blue strip at the top with adf.ly's logo and the "Please Wait…" but it doesn't have any countdown for the skip ad button. I think my adblocker may be blocking some of the different ads, because every time it finally (usually after about 15 tries) it's only ever a few different ads.

I know that AdBlocker is better if you have it on at all times, it keeps your computer safer, which is why I want to find a why to stop this without removing from my google chrome. Any suggestions?

Where can i download.minecraft/assets/objects?

Recently, I updated my minecraft to 1.7.4, when it started downloading files for.minecraft/assets/objects, almost everything it downloads say "[hh: mm: ss WARN] Couldn't download etc…". I thought I should download it manually but it will take forever to download everything. It will launch minecraft and I'm able to play it normally, BUT I can't play 1.6.x versions wherein i want to use some mods because of the frigging error. Anyone knows how to fix this?

When downloading forge for minecraft i came across a problem?

Okay, so when downloading minecraft forge so i can download mods, when i tried to download it, a message popped saying that i must first have opened the 1.6.4 version manually at least once, but i don't know what that means or what its asking me to do… I have the 1.7.4 update for minecraft. Or 1.7.3 one of the two, so i don't get what its asking for me to do? Can someone help me download minecraft forge?

Minecraft Mod Installation 1.6.2?

Ok, I'm usually really good with mods and installation but for some reason I'm having issues with Jammy's Furniture Mod. Currently I'm playing with 1.7.4 so I did all the stuff for forge and have a forge profile for 1.6.2 and I installed Mo'Creatures (1.6.2) and for laughs I installed Jammy's too, but not before testing the mo'creatures first. Before I installed Jammy's there was sound, so much so that I turned it down! But after I added Jammy's to the mods folder no sound what so ever. I messed with the sound (both computer and minecraft) and then I accually played my 1.7.4 file and the sound was back. So you see my issue? I need sound for mo' creatures but I really like jammy's, any help on how to restore my sound?

Added (1). My game didn't crash, the sound just doesn't work, and the versions should be fine I have friends who used them together.

I was thinking about this computer, but i'm not very familiar with AMD processors and video cards.
I was wondering what games a can run before I hit the limits of it. Here is a list of some games i want to know about

What i want to know is what FPS you can get on high and max settings (Including Anistrophic Filtering and MSAA). I already know that I can't run Battlefield 4 on max, but I'd want to know if I even can run it and what settings are my limits to it.

Minecraft Shaders mod problem?

I'm using 1.6.4 with the new launcher and just installed shaders into minecraft. I doubled check everything that I did and it was all correct, so when I went into a world and selected the shader pack I wanted to use, minecraft just closes immediately and opened up a new launcher without giving any information of the crash. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Will Next-Gen Minecraft be based off of the GLSL shaders mod?

Just wondering if Minecraft will take advantage of these hardware capabilities.

How to delete anything minecraft related and redownload it with a fresh start?

So basically I just want to delete anything that relates to minecraft of mine and then redownload it for free and start new. I have tried and failed to download mods and i want to delete them from my folder. I have a mac and it's a pretty old model. I'm totally cool with losing all my saved worlds. I just want to delete everything.
