So I recently have downloaded and tried using the Aether 2 Mod and Forgotten Nature Mod separately and it worked, but when I put both files together in the "Mods" folder in mine craft, my game crashes and I don't know what to do.
Is the "Aether 2" mod compatible with the "Forgotten Nature" mod for Minecraft?
So i want to play minecraft in a Lan server with a friend, i need to install 5 different mods and have no idea how to do it, neither does he, the mods are: toomanyitems, archimedes ships, treecapitator, oceancraft, ocean adventures, so do i need forge or what or i don't know? I have no idea where to start, and what minecraft version should i use? Are there any modpacks which has all these in them, also i'm running a macbook and hes using a pc laptop so…

Well I'm serious. My daughter is amazing. She is so mature. I will try to get her in Canada's got talent ( sucks to be Canadian and yes there's a show called Canada's got talent) She draws better than a 7th grader. I'm not lying or bragging in any part. Don't read this if you think I'm bragging or lying because its the truth. She can take apart and rebuild a laptop ( not a computer, unless it is a newer version like a Mac) and she sets up all the electronic devices including Wi-Fi. She knows how to set up minecraft mods and servers. She can draw better than most 7/8th graders. She can sing very well about as good as a 7th grader. She and I are Canadian and I know kids in Canada are different from those in America. But seriously is this even normal? Is she average or no? Please, I didn't try to brag!

I'm want to load different versions of minecraft like 1.5.2 and 1.6.4 but not have to keep switching out the mods in the folder how could I do this?
I tried to download Hexxit for my computer and mojang screen and everything else is upside down. Is that just how hexxit works or what?

I have been watching the minecraft project and I then bought minecraft 1.7.2 for mac in all excitement until I realised that you need a mod for everything.
I really just want the twilight forest mod, the aether mod, the ender world mod, zan or rei's minimap, that duel wield thing, the backpack mod and to be able to turn recipe mode on.
How do I do all this on minecraft 1.7.2 for mac?
I have been trying to download the Lion King mod for Minecraft 1.7.2 for my daughter but everytime I do so, I end up with a virus and have to give my computer a thorough clean-up.

I currently have two profiles for minecraft 1.7.2 on mac. I have installed 'too many items' manually as there isn't a forge version yet and this is the only mod I have used. I want to in the future download and use Zan's minimap. Can I do this whilst keeping the 'too many items' mod? How will I do this?
I have 4 mods installed, Tropicraft, Traincraft, Twilight Forest, and Build Craft, and it crashes every 5-20 minutes and I can't figure out why. I did some research and I couldn't find compatibility charts for all of them but I found one for tropicraft and all of these mods work with that one, so I figured they are similar and should work together. I don't have a texture pack on, and I have the graphics on fast. The render distance is set to normal, and most of the higher end graphics options are off. I thought maybe it was the memory so I boosted my minecrafts memory to 3 GB and it uses around 25 percent of that on average, I get between 100 and 120 FPS, so nothing appears to be wrong. But every once in a while unpredictably it will crash, I won't get an error message it will just say java has stopped working and then it will exit me out, what is wrong? Its really annoying me.
Added (1). And its not an issue with my computer, at least it shouldn't be because my computer can handle almost any game on ultra graphics, I have 8 GB of Ram, and my processor is as good as they get.
