Why can't I find an up to date mod downloader for Minecraft?

It seems that none of the mod downloaders available online work for the newest version of Minecraft, 1.7.4. Is there one I haven't heard of?

Is there a minecraft mod that transfers rank and pets to the actual players?

My sister and her friend are starting a minecraft server and they are selling ranks and pets and since I'm setting up their website and handling all of the financial stuff I was curious as to how the ranks and pets get transferred" from PayPal (where they pay for it) and their minecraft account on our server. So is there a mod for this "transferring" process or is it a manual action that one of the admin's must do themselves?

I seem to float in the sky without pressing the spacebar in minecraft?

Yeah i'm a expert minecraft player but i seem to float up into the sky without pressing the spacebar but if i double tap the space bar or press shift to go down it feels like there's barely any gravity and when i jump it feels like i'm on the moon. This is one of my favorite maps so please don't ask me to delete the map or make backups. And yes i do have mods but i tried to delete them but it did not work at all. The main one that i deleted was galacticraft and mcdoodlecore and the rest i kept (i have 30+ mods) like the furniture mod and stuff but it still dosent work. I NEED URGENT Help!

Play minecraft 1.7.4 with forge and MC patcher?

I want to play minecraft with forge mods. The problem is I also want MC patcher and they both create different users. Someone please tell me how to use MC patcher and forge in minecraft 1.7.4.

Why can't i go into creative mode on Minecraft anymore?

I used to be able to play MineCraft on Creative mode on my computer but i can't anymore. I'm not online I'm just playing single player and I could only play survival, Even if i make a new world and start it on creative it will not allow me to play creative mode.

I also tried to type it in with "T" but when i press "T" it will not pop up the open chat menu, i checked in my options to see if someone changed the command but my settings tell me that "T" is the right command for Open Chat.

I'm playing on vanilla i Can't find out what's wrong!

I feel like It might have something to do with me downloading "Technic Platform" I can play Creative mode on that but I can't chat. My little brother did download a bunch of mods/game modes from the Technic Platform, but i still wouldn't even know how to fix that!

How to download the Aether for Minecraft?

For weeks i've been trying to download it half the time i do get it but it never finsihes downloading then i tried another download i got all the mods and things exported.But, It still does not want to work and i don't see any selection for the Aether anywhere. How come they don't make it easy to just download and what's stopping them from adding it to the original file of Minecraft? They got the Neather so how come they never add the Aether?

Is it really worth getting a security program for Mac?

I got my MacBook Pro 6 months ago, and my Kaspersky subscription is about to expire in a few days.

I've only ran into viruses, malware, etc, 4 times since I got my Mac in July 2013. It's obviously now January 2014.

•Once when I was looking up school info
•Once when I was trying to download a song
•Once when a stupid pop-up window appeared and automatically downloaded a "security program"
•Once when I was looking for a Minecraft mod.

So is it really worth getting a security program?
Even if it's a free trusted program like Avast or AVG?

Any mod suggestions for Minecraft?

I just got Minecraft for PC a couple hours ago and would like to use some mods. Anyone recommend any? I'd like something that's pretty easy to figure out since I'm still learning how to work everything. I'd like some type of horror mod or something along those lines. Oh and if anyone could sorta explain how to download/install the mod or mods that'd be great. Please and thank you!
