Minecraft lag help? (Not ordinary)?
I have been playing minecraft for about 4 years now and I have just recently ran into this problem. While playing on servers, even single player, I'm getting this weird lag. This is not fps lag, but it is the type of lag with bad internet. When I attempt to open a chest, kill a mob, or anything that needs to relay to the server I get lag. It acts like it has a bad connection but I get about a ping of 50. I have tried many different things and still no solution, I have had this for about 3 months. When I first start playing I get no lag but around 8PM at night I start to get lag. It takes up to 5 minutes to complete an action in game making it impossible to play. I have tried re-downloading java, and re-downloading minecraft. Still no results, I have tried on vanilla and modded servers, the same result is happening. Other people can see what I do on the server as well when I do it but it never happens for me. I can throw an item on the ground and other people can see it and a few minutes later I can see it for myself. I'm connected to teamspeak while playing and I get no lag on that. I can play other multiplayer games as well and get no lag. Its only for minecraft. Restarting does nothing.
