My minecraft server properties file won't work?

I'm trying to make a server so me and my friend can play an adventure map but whenever i run the minecraft server, and open up the server properties in notepad, there's only 2 things…

I've watched at least 5 videos and in all of them they have much more things like serever name and ops and stuff. Why does mine only have those 2 things?!

Did you open the notepad titled "Eula" and changed false to true?

Edit: Try watching this tutorial, delete the server folder and reinstall it.
