Spigot 1.8 Essentials /fly permission issues? (Minecraft Server)?

I have recently updated my Minecraft 1.7.10 server to 1.8. I downloaded Spigots version of Essentials {1.8 version} since Essentials has yet to updated their official plugin. I'm having permission issues with this essentials though. Many people on the server have bought fly mode but the permission isn't working. I use GroupManager for permissions and use the command /manuaddp [player] essentials.fly
It says I have given the player that permission, but each time I do, every play still says they can't do /fly (it says the 'you do not have permission' msg) Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening or what I need to do instead to fix it? All the other permissions are working (besides /feed which many players need that one as well)

I mostly enjoy MMOs and RPGs, but I'll also enjoy other genres like action and adventure. The last time I spent over 100 hours on a game was Minecraft, which I still play almost every day. Is it wise to prepare Minecraft multiplayer maps offline for community hubs and lobby?

Added (1). Lets say a planned server costs a lot i.e. $100 per month. Is it possible and would it make sense technically to create hubs and lobbies on a single player map?

The goal being to save money.

I want to know pitfalls, if any. I think the preparation for hubs and lobbies could take 4 months as they are to be designed for a School.

Village would be a main feature, community farm (a lot of teaching in that area), each School house would have a hub and each designed differently.

Minecraft froze mid game! (Mac)?

I was just playing Minecraft on a server and went to open a chest and it froze up on me. I didn't create like a ton of stuff to cause it to freeze i Don't know why it happened. When i try to force a shutdown it won't let me saying to "Quit Minecraft" then there a pop up saying to quit it but i just won't quit! After trying multible time. I can't really fore shut down my computer because of it some1 help please!

I would like to buy equipment so i can host websites (any localstore.com ) as well as to be able to offer Hostage for Minecraft online servers. I know minecraft can be done with home equipment and lots of memory but i would like to make it Pro.

Verizon security suite blocking minecraft?

Every time I go to play on a minecraft server, it tells me that it can't connect. I think it might have to do with my Verizon security suite? How do I get it to let me play online? It's only on this computer, and I know the servers work because I tested them with another computer. It keeps saying it failed to connect: Group.

Ok so ever scince the updates start getting bigger And I only lag with this game, Like I do get some spikes in other games but I put evreything on the lowest graphics and no animations also I have tiny gui and 30fps And I still get lag AND I HAVE NO FREAKING IDEA WHY IT WON't GO AWAY! Like I don't have it on smaller servers but I always get it on others. Also I have optifine Anyone have a suggestion on how to fix it?
