I mostly enjoy MMOs and RPGs, but I'll also enjoy other genres like action and adventure. The last time I spent over 100 hours on a game was Minecraft, which I still play almost every day. Fallout 4
Don't really know if you're into JRPGs, but the Tales series (Best ones to start out with are Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Vesperia) but they implement characteristics of both your typical RPG as well as action/adventure.
The Tales games are tailored to people who enjoy playing through a game multiple times (New Game+) as the games themselves are typically around 60 hours long (not even including side quests) but many story elements are changed based on decisions you make in the game, and you can only see all of these and acquire all of the collectibles if you complete the games myriad times (Giving you at least 200 hours of play time).
The most notable thing: THE COMBAT IS ADDICTING.
