Downloaded a Minecraft save, but the Nether and End are screwed up?

An old server that I used to play on a lot closed, and the owner left a zip file so that players could still play in singleplayer mode. So I downloaded it, and originally the zip file had a folder with three folders inside of it: it had the overworld info in one folder, the Nether info in another, and the End in another. The save file wouldn't show up in the singleplayer list when it was like that, so I separated those three folders. Of course when I went into the Nether from the overworld save, everything was reset.

So I'm hoping someone can tell me how to merge those three folders so that I'm able to have both a nice looking overworld and a functional Nether hub.

Best way to film minecraft videos with a group?

Hi! I'm starting a series with some of my friends. There's 6-7 of us all together. I'm having a hard time figuring out the best way to film with all of them. It's all on the same server. Here's some of the ideas we tossed around:
1) All skype together, with only me filming. You would hear everyone talking but would only see my POV.

2) All Skype but have a few different people record (not everyone can)

3) Not skype at all and allow whoever can record to do individual commentary. Not everyone would be seen but you could see the chat obviously.

4) Have people skype in "teams". Like, have people who can't record work with or skype with someone who can. You'd still get individual commentary and mostly everyone's POV.

What would be the best way? I'm open to other suggestions as well except we can't all play in the same house cause we're spread out in the world.

Minecraft Singleplayer FPS issues?

Recently since the 1.7 minecraft update minecraft single player has been acting up the frame rate drops to 15 FPS and will not go any higher if i turn my fog to tiny it still won't go higher however if i join my friends server the FPS goes up to 70 i downloaded optifine and turned everything to the fastest settings and still no avail
is there anyway i can get the single player to work

my computer specs are

CPU: AMD sempron 140 @2.7 Ghz
GPU: AMD HD7470 1GB gddr5
RAM: 3GB

Minecraft serer localhost

Okay, i have my own public server that i have port forwarded and used to work and everything. But because 1.7 came out, i decided to start fresh. I made a new server and everything with bukkit plugins running on the same port. Whenever i try to acess the server from a different computer on the same Wi-Fi connection using localhost, it gives me an error, this one java.net.ConnectException: Connection Refused: localhost/127.0.0.1:25565 on my macbook pro, windows it says the same thing except that at the end it says "no further information" Even if i try to connect using the ip address used for my server it won't work, and yes in my server files ip address is blank like its supposed to be. Please help.

Added (1). I tried using my ip address too! And before when my server USED to work, it would connect with localhost. Localhost is for the whole Wi-Fi connection

Minecraft Let's Play Partner?

Hi, I'm 17 with a LOT of spare time on my hands so I'm going to start a Minecraft Let's Play series on YouTube, but I think that it would be better if there was two people.

So, are you able to commit the time and effort? If you can then there's some small things that you have to be able to do.
1. You have to host the server (as I don't have the required Bandwidth)
2. You must be able to record as well
3. Age between 14-20 (I'm 17)

Portforwarding vs hamachi?

So what is better for minecraft I just wanna know, becasue me and my frined use hamchi for his server adn it's laggy in the begging like ****, there's like a grace period for me where I can't do anything for like 30s, but other servers that use port forwarding(I asume)I don't have any problems, so what is better?
