I'm trying to start a Minecraft server and need a little help? - 1

I have a site on Enjin partially set up for the server. I've run one before but on my own computer and I want to use a Minecraft server hosting site instead. I have quite a bit of money to get it started up and going. I wanted to know a few good server hosting websites, maybe some helpful tips, or tutorials. As I said before i have a general understanding of bukkit, plugins and running a server as I've done it before. I want something that's easy, effective, can link with enjin(Almost everything can) and any other tips would be nice.

I have a server on my computer me and about 7 of my buddies have been playing on. I'm looking on keeping this world and switching it to a hosting server company. I'm looking for the best but still affordable… Don't want to spend a ton. If someone can help me that would be great. Also its very important to us that we keep the same world.

Banned on minecraft by a hacker

I'm a co-owner of a server I love this server so much and the owner is nice. He gives staff to anyone who asks which is annoying he even made some girl owner after two days. That girl was manipulative and she would get whatever she wanted she would claim builds that weren't hers. One day the owner gave her console password and she hacked everything. She invited a friend. I said stop and they de-opped me (I was co-owner) and killed me relentlessly. They got banned but they just unbanned themselves because they learned console. They banned me for trying to deop them. A few days later I was unbanned I went on and the owner was afk but they were on and de-opped me and banned me. I got unbanned and tried to reason with them then they banned ip for me. What should I do?

Switching between creative mode and survival mode on minecraft 1.7.5?

I've tried using gamemode 1 and gamemode 0, but all it says is that I don't have permission to use that commade. Is there any other way to switch between those modes?

Can you sue for online vandalism?

This is a pretty stupid question, but I was wondering if you could legally sue for online vandalism. The only example I can think of is griefing in a Minecraft server, since that is destruction of virtual property or very small amounts of unsaved physical disk space.

I'm not talking about hacking or DDos, but just going around and screwing up or blowing holes in other people's stuff in Minecraft (without hacking).

Added (1). I followed a step by step to port forward it on a linux comp. I used Putty. So I take it that you were unable to connect.

So i made a server for the attack of the bteam and i made it on my laptop not my main computer and the laptop is connected to my main home network and my comp which i want to join the server and it is an extender which is connected to the main network and well extends the network signal and i don't know how to connect the server on my laptop that is connected to the main Wi-Fi from my main gaming desktop which is connected to an extender. If you could help thtd be great thanks.

Would you be able to PVP in any game with a lot of lag?

I was playing minecraft with my friend today on a PVP server. I died, then my friend called me bad. Then, I called him bad (we joke around like that. ). Then, he said "coming from the guy that doesn't have much skill".
I was a little angry at that moment (short temper:/), so I told him to try to PVP while getting 25 fps max. He said, that FPS doesn't matter, it's your capability.
That got me wondering. Would you be able to be a good PVPer in Minecraft or any game for that matter while getting 25 FPS max?
