1.7.4 Minecraft Server 'Can't Keep Up' ERROR?

CPU Specs: Quad Core 3.4GHz, running on 8GB of ram, 1GB Graphic Card

Keep in mind I use to run 1.5.2 and 1.6 servers, Pixelmon along at times, without no issues, no errors, straight up flawless and lag less. All my servers are Vanilla.

Ever since I reformatted my PC, meaning no more MineCraft files anywhere in the system, I created a 1.7.4 server so the kids can join in and play together; I'd say there's 6 of us, max. Server has been lagging for a while, started crashing at times, I can see my allocated memories were running out and so I allocated 2GB of memory and that fixed the crashing issue; but the server STILL lag at time to time. Memory is at the 90%+ FREE, so I'm positive the lag can't be caused by insufficient memo… I've looked everywhere online and can't seem to find a fix for it, tried this and that, done that and this. I use to run my servers fine until I created an updated MC Server, 1.7.4. Is this a common issue/glitch that 1.7.4 is having or am I having just having issues on my side?

FYI: I'm NOT running any plugins or MODS, the server is just strictly plain and simple, how it came with at the moment.

Have plenty of Memory, High 90%+ FREE of memory to use. Not running anything at the background. Java Process barely running ~20% or 30% max of CPU… What can be the problem?

My minecraft server doesn't work?

(I'm using a MacBook Air) When I press start.command, everything seems normal, like it usually do. But, in Minecraft, it looks like the server isn't running (in the multiplayer page) and when I try to join it it says "host is down", and I have portforwarded it, it worked perfectly a week ago. Any solution?

How to open Port forwarding for Minecraft with Frontier router model 7550?

I've been trying to create a minecraft server for awhile now for just me and a few friends to play on. I downloaded bukkit gui and made the server and I can join it with local host. However when i click on the button to set up port forward so my friends can join it says port could not be forwarded. Something went wrong while communicating with your router. Any help on opening port forwarding so my friends can play minecraft with me would be great, thank you in advance for any help.

How to Unlock GODADDY account without ID?

HI, i made a Godaddy account, and got a domain, just so i could use it for my minecraft server,
I used fake information, because I didn't want them to know my address. (Or name, while we're at it.)
Anyway, everything is doing fine, until two days ago when i got an Email saying i HAVE to send a picture of an ID, or my order will be cancelled. I sent GoDaddy a VERY angry letter saying that i refuse, and that since i already payed them, they can't cancel my order. My Server IP was shut down!

What do I do? Is it even Legal to ask for someone's ID?!

Why can't other people connect to my minecraft server?

Whenever my friends try to connect to my minecraft server, it says, "can't connect to server." Why is this? (and yes, it is running at the time).

Does any one have some good simple survival servers for minecraft?

They need to work on Mineshafter (a lot of the servers don't) so what I want is a server that is basically just survival, with people that don't kill you the second you meet them (on the server that I really like and had lots of stuff on as soon as I met with someone he and all his friends went out of there way to kill me and raid my base (and no I didn't hurt them first or anything like that.

Domain leads to 000webhost still?

So I own the domain glacialpvp.com from 1and1 for my minecraft server. I use it as a domain IP and a domain for the buycraft site. I tried setting up a free forum (that is not enjin) with mybb and 000webhost. After struggling with updating pauses with 1and1 I finally got the dns to lead to 000webhost but nothing was working correctly and then my subdomains for the server wasn't working correctly and not leading to the right things. I changed the dns settings back to the 1and1 nameserver but now my subdomains lead to a 404 error on 000webhost. This is not good for me and causing me major grief. How can I fix this?

Minecraft Server World Upgrade?

I made a minecraft forge modded server on 1.6.4. Everything went alright until I wanted to upgrade the world to 1.7.2. I knew there will be a lot of crashes but eventually I will fix it. I got the latest forge installer and made a 1.7.2 server. Then I put the 1.6.4 world in the 1.7.2 server location and hoped it will work. Apparently the items and blocks from some mods could not be converted so I deleted all of them and hoped it will work. Fortunately, the world worked and I joined the server. When I looked around the map, all the beds and doors were gone (also the mod items disappeared but I knew that will happen). Is there any way to load the world on the 1.7.2 server with all the vanilla items loading properly?

Best Minecraft video/audio recorder?

I'm looking for a video/audio recorder, so i can start recording me and someone else on my server with me playing minecraft! We will be talking on skype. So does anyone know of very very cheap, or free software that would help me?!
