Why am I seeing these grid-like lines in my Minecraft?

So I'm just playing Minecraft, but I'm seeing these lines along the edges of the blocks.
Here's what I mean:

Here are some things to keep in mind:
1. This happens with AND without OptiFine
2. This happens with any resource pack, even Default
3. This happens on any version of Minecraft, even in Beta and Alpha

I honestly don't know why these lines are here. It's really an eye sore. How do I get rid of them?

Is it possible to upgrade one laptops specs with the parts of an unused laptop?

The laptop I'm currently using isn't very powerful at all for gaming use (even minecraft lags horribly unless on lowest optifine settings) but I have another laptop that doesn't fully function and i'm wondering if i can just add the ram etc. From that laptop to this one.

If I make Minecraft videos, will people hate me?

So I'm 13 years old and I'm making minecraft videos on the channel www.youtube.com/thebluepandorica and I'm afraid that as I grow popular, people will start to hate me because of my childish voice, I know people will hate nevertheless, but will they hate me more because of my voice? Or will they just ignore me?

How to chance the time setting in Minecraft multiplayer?

I really want to change the 'day' setting in Minecraft multiplayer to 'night' but I have no idea how to do it. Any tips?

Minecraft Not responding

When i play minecraft it stops responding and I try to close minecraft to reset it but it does not close! Even when I use the task manager end task does not work. Please how do i fix this and I just want to know the reason for these happenings! Please Please Please Help!

Is it safe to overclock my graphics card?

I have a hp 2000 laptop with AMD Radeon HD 8280 graphics. I wanted a new laptop for christmas, preferably a gaming laptop and my parents thought that this was a good laptop for some reason. It runs minecraft just fine but i wanted to play higher end games so bad.
When i downloaded saints row 4, i knew it wouldnt run well, but it did even WORSE than expected, with about 10-15 frames. I want a new laptop but thats out of the question just because of the fact that christmas has just passed not long ago.
Is overclocking my graphics card safe? And will it increase my gaming performence? If so what are the dangers and how big of an impact will it have on my gaming experience? Is there anything else i can do to get the most out of my gaming?
Please only give me an answer if you absolutly know what you are talking about because i don't wanna risk damages to my laptop.

Why isn't there any minecraft updates?

There's no minecraft updates for any editions in the last month what's going on hav they stopped or taking a brake or should we be prepared for a big update for all editions
