Hi! I'm really new to computer stuff so I'm having a hard time understanding the specification stuff everyone keeps telling me. I'm looking for a cheap-ish laptop that can run Minecraft decently. It's going to be primarily my college laptop so I can take notes and complete assignments. I'd also really like to be able to use Skype as I'm in a LDR and that's pretty much my only way to talk to my girlfriend.
I really need help finding a good laptop! If you could respond in idiot-friendly terms that would help.

Since my pc broke, i now use my old one which is very bad. I want to buy a new one. I want to buy a PC that can run minecraft with 512x texturepack with some nice shaders on okay fps (at least 60). I'd like to know the components and money.
I recently got a new laptop. The graphics processor is nvidia gtx 1050. When I go to play minecraft normally, it only runs around 30fps. With the card I have it should be way beyond 100. What do you think is the issue?
