Why won't my left mouse button always work on minecraft?

I don't know if this helps at all, but here is some information about my computer
1) It's an HP TouchSmart Pavilion
2) Minecraft is NOT on touchscreen mode
3) My computer is basically brand new, I've had it for only over a month

The button works sometimes but I end up dying a lot because I can't kill any monsters! It really aggravates me!

Do you know a good open world survival game with good graphics?

I have minecraft, don't starve and fallout, so stop… I need a game like minecraft, but something more realistic, like TheForest and stuff, but don't say rust… Some game that you need to eat, drink, sleep and gather resources

Resource Packs and Maps not moving into.minecraft?

Someone please answer! I Really want to download maps and resource packs. When I open the downloaded resource pack or map folder, they have all the right stuff. But anytime I try to move the Map or Resource pack into the saves or resource packs folders in.minecraft the resource pack or map 's content disappear. What I'm doing wrong?!

Added (1). Oh yeah and another thing; I can't move any.dat files at all

Minecraft fullscreen crashes?

I was playing minecraft with my friend he clicked the full screen button and the game won't load up then i logged back in as usually but the game is stuck in fullscreen mode and i pressed f11 it went back to normal but the game won't load all it was my computer background what do i do my friend broke my new game

Added (1). I also have the latest minecraft version 1.7.4 and i got it in my old computer with windows vista i also have a laptop but they say that it won't run properly

Could making this game result in a lawsuit?

I was thinking of creating an mmorpg after the anime show sword art online, to do so i was thinking of basically using minecraft as the base and not having any aspect of sandbox except for buying a plot of land for a player owned house, and buying the materials from a vendor. There would be no monsters from minecraft, i would do my best to smooth out characters, and world design etc. So what i'm asking is if i can get slapped with a lawsuit for using minecrafts code as a base for this game using java. And if i claim no ownership etc to the sao (sword art online) franchise. I may not use minecraft for that i'm just thinking that would be easiest to start with as my skills with java are mediocre at best.
