Purchasing Minecraft

Please bare with me, this is a little long…

I'm trying to purchase Minecraft on my laptop off the website minecraft.net. I go to the homepage and click the 'Get Minecraft!' button. It takes me to the first step of the purchasing process, which is signing into your Mojang account. I already have a Mojang account and so I log in to this. Instead of taking me to the next purchasing process, it automatically directs me to my Mojang account settings.

I then go and try to purchase the game again, but this just keeps repeating and won't take me to the page I need to go on to purchase the game! Does anyone know what is happening? I've looked on the help page and other help blogs but no one seems to be experiencing this.

It is very frustrating… I hope someone can help!

Added (1). If I buy it on someone else's laptop, will I only be able to play the game on their laptop or can I somehow transfer the game over to mine?

Every time I enter my credit card information it just goes back to the page I was on and unfills all my credit card numbers, without even telling me the purchase is complete, why can't I get Minecraft?

Security won't let me play minecraft demo?

I'm trying to play the minecraft demo and when i do it comes up with a security thing that says: Application Blocked by Security Settings, And another one saying: Applicatiion Blocked for security i tried turning off all of my security on norton 360 but no matter what it won't let me play it please help i'm about to just throw my computer out the window

How to record your voice and sounds that are INSIDE your computer?

So I'm using screencast-o-matic and I record Minecraft videos. I'm wondering how do I record my voice and in game sounds at the same time using screencast-o-matic. If the software itself is not letting me do it or I just have it set to a wrong microphone setting then either tell me a better software (besides fraps…) and/or tell me what microphone setting I should set it to.

Why are there very few games about survival? What makes this genre unsuccessful?

I'm referring to games where you have to manage your resources, get food and water, and have at least some sort of crafting system. I'm aware of Minecraft and its clones, but the selection of survival games pales compares to shooters, puzzle games, and racing games. Why is there such a small selection? I'm aware there are some coming out, but not what would satisfy me. Not even hunting games seem to be about survival so much as about shooting aimlessly.
