I watch lots of minecraft videos on youtube, how do they take a video while playing, is it an app or what. Is it taken with a video camera or is it an app that allow you to do it

You can do it with FRAPS but your framerate will take a hit to the crotch. People who are serious "lets players" use capture cards.
