Need a steam game for the Boyfriend. It's his birthday tomorrow?

My Boyfriend is working in a rural town and I really doubt my wine & hamper package is going to make it in time (because I forgot about the whole rural thing… And well, I'm not sure if he'd want that anyway). He's an avid gamer, playing all sorts of games, but I need something addictive, something he can start-up and stop at anytime, and most importantly something relaxing. He is currently playing World of Tanks, and says he likes the slow action, yet minor competitiveness and whatnot… But anyway, if there's a game you just like to zone off to frequently that would be good… Since his job is kind of difficult… Just no minecraft or Terraria suggestions please. XD

Of course any other suggestions are welcomed too.

Xcom enemy unknown with the enemy within dtc. The game is a action strategy game where the player is put in control of earths first and last defense against a alien threat. The game is played in 2 modes combat and base management. In combat mode the player had Birdseye view of the map and they give orders to soldiers like who to attack and and where to take cover or use powers and abilities that the soldiers learn or are given. It's turn based to the term slow action fits well. In base mode the player has to manage resources gained from missions and there daily pay to research new weapons and armor to make alien fighting easier, outfit the soldiers and keep panic across the world low. The enemy within dlc adds a new enemy group, a new resource, new enemy's, and ways to make the solider better by using genetic mods or robotics. Sorry about all of the run on sentences.
